» PERSONALITY

Heejoo, one word, vain. She loves the camera, the mirror and the attention. She believes that she works hard enough to be deserving of compliments. Joo is someone that doesn't rest much and she gives her everything whenever they are practising. Sometimes, she is the only one who slept for just an hour to perfect her skills in either a dance step, vocal or even rapping. Heejoo is rarely seen resting however, she doesn't lose energy. She is always the one that hypes the people around her and she is not afraid of what people think of her. She was always warned to take good care of her image but now, people are too tired to remind her anything, they just let her be. The perks of being Heejoo is that, she gets a lot of attention because of her interesting behaviour. 

Heejoo is also someone that always changes ideal types. Whenever she likes a trait in someone, she will change her ideal type. For example, she likes a caring person and because of this she likes Yoo Seungho but she also likes a manly and cute person so she would change her ideal type to Kim Woobin. This is something that doesn't change at all. Heejoo knows her ways with words, she usually never fails to get the attention of the guy she wishes to have. She is quite flirtatious and she likes skinships. Heejoo is known for being a 'foreigner' trainee because she is very open to skinships. She can just kiss a stranger she just met on the cheeks as if nothing is wrong. 

Heejoo, the bubby and easygoing lady actually has a lot of worries for herself. She works harder than everyone else because she is lacking in talent than the members. Heejoo has a lot of insecurities so she tried her best to change everything to make sure she is not being left behind. Other than the members and her close friends, nobody has seen her breakdown because she believes that no matter how fast she ran to chase her dream, she is always the one behind the rest. She can only depend on her mindset and positivity to get to where she is. Heejoo has always given good advice to people and she forces them to look at the bright side instead of dwelling on things that makes them upset.

Heejoo may not seem humble and would always jokingly brag about her own plus point but she is the nicest to people. She likes to compliment herself and also she loves to praise others too. She wants to make sure that everyone feels good about themselves. She rarely talks about things that would affect her emotionally because she doesn't like showing her weakness to people. You can see her avoiding any sensitive topic for herself. She would usually remain quiet when this happens or even try to change the subject because she knows that sensitive topic taps onto her heart really hard. 

» Background

Heejoo was born into an average income family who supports her during difficult times nad stay with her through good times too. This doesn't mean that she has a perfect family, her parents divorced because they somehow doesn't love each other as much as before they were married. Heejoo's father is living in Australia with his new family while Heejoo and her brother is under the custody of her mother. Her father still gives monthly allowance to her and her brother and often talk to them either through a phonecall or video call. They never lost any contact however, Heejoo wish she could visit her step-mum in Australia and her newborn step-sis who just turned three. Heejoo's mother is someone who takes care of her kids well and had always suported Heejo and her brother for the right things. Heejoo is grateful that at least she still has parents that cares for her a lot eventhough they are not friendly with each other anymore. That's it for her parents.

As for her dreams, at age 12, Heejoo showed a great amount of interest for singing that she begged her mom to send her to singing classes. Heejoo was also invovled the school's drama group and she learnt acting through her teacher. She was really determined to be in show business at age 12 however, she was always criticised for her lackiing in skills. Heejoo had a hard time preparing herself for skits because she couldn't memorise scripts as fast as her peers and in vocal classes, she hardly gets the correct pitch that even the vocal coach nearly gave up on her. Heejoo worked harder than the peers in her age and improved tremendously at the age of 15. She auditioned as an actress in YG ent but they said she wasn't good enough and the public may not like her appearance much.  Heejoo then decided to drop acting and focus on singing, she auditioned for JYP at age 16 and got accepted as a trainee however, she dropped off in the middle because her mother was sick. She took care of her mother at home while her brother work. Her mother got better a few months later so she handed another audition tape to YG entertainment. 

She couldn't believe it when YG Ent called her for live audition because she knows YG has high standards in talent. YG sajangnim recognises her when she entered for the live audition and he told her that she has to work harder than the other trainees of she wants to debut. He said that she has potential but it might not be enough to debut or even survive in the talented world of idols. YG has always been harsh on her during trainings and she pushed herself harder than she already has to a point where she nearly gave up. She went to YG sajangnim once and told him that she wants to give up but YG persuaded her and asked her if she is ready to drop all the hardwork she had done. With that, she remained in YG and continued to strive towards her dream, and all her hardwork paid off when YG told her that she was chosen as the new member of the group that is going to debut in YG called, Crush.

» ABOUT HIM?

Kim Hanbin aka B.I is known for the guy with the sweet voice and charming eye smile. He is sometimes clueless and may lack the trait of a gentleman but he never gets criticised for it. He is someone that anybody would want to protect. He has a weird habit of impersonating historical dramas and would always try to make a straight face when possible. He doesn't realise that he uses a lot of aegyos and skinship with someone that it sometimes could affect a person's feelings. He is the type who doesn't care much about screentime or attention and he does what he wants, sometimes at the wrong time. He is a little foolish and shy at times. Yes, he looks confident at first but no matter what, there is this layer of shyness that stops him from doing something that he likes in front of a group of people. 

B.I is careful with his words, he thinks about what he should talk about or how he should arrange his words and this sometimes leads to slow reaction. For someone that he isn't close with, he is usually quiet and humble but to someone that he is close with, he has an authorative figure. It's like he has this charisma that whenever he talks, those around him would listen. He cares a lot about health not to an extent of Park Bom who eats vitamins and all but he takes care of healthy dieting. He believes balanced meal is a great way to maintain a healthy body physicaly or even emotionally. B.I is protective of those around him and loves to give advices too. 

» INTERACTIONS

Joo and Hanbin is one of those friends that knows each other but are still awkward. Sometimes they can talk really long with each other and sometimes they can't find any topic to talk about. Both of them usually uses honorifics with each other although they are friends of the same grade. It is true that both of them like each other but they won't say anything and that's the cause of their awkwardness. They are careful with their words whenever they talk with ach other. Joo who rarely does aegyo sometimes would do aegyo to B.I and B.I who uses aegyo acts manly in front of Joo. What similar about them both is that they don't hesitate over skinships with each other. They can hug and whisper into each other's ears in loud places. This is what people is confused of. How can a friend be a little awkward with each other when talking but so comfortable with skinships?!

Hanbin is protective of Joo and he tries to show his concern to Joo for example texting her if she has eaten and goodnight texts. She also does things like this to him. As mentioned earlier, Joo always changes her ideal type but the person who fits her ideal type the most is Hanbin but she never mentioned him as her ideal type. He is a little disappointed but he has no idea that Joo likes him. The only problem they face as love interests is that they are still unsure of their feelings for each other but is trying to pursue each other cautiously.

Trainees usually have a mutual friend outing. Joo and Hanbin met up during one of the trainees outing where they get to know other trainees. At the first meeting, they were friendly with each other and exchanged numbers for another outing. However, little did they know, they were attracted to each other and eventually ended up having thought of being together. Both of them had the same feeling but since they don't see much positive reaction from each other, they assumed that the other person doesn't have feeling for the other so they kind of give up. That doesn't stop them from talking but it did make their relationship a little bit awkward as both of them want to keep their feelings a secret.
