There's been another uprising in China, in the village of Wukan.

And it's awful.

One community leader has already been beaten to death, others are being dragged away one by one and held in prison.

The authorities deny it, of course. They are even blocking any searches related to it on the internet.

Now the villagers are just waiting for the police to arrive and brutally supress the uprising.

All they wanted was compensation for their stolen land.

It's been like this in China for so long; nothing's changed. And we report it in the news but it's not like anyone's going to do anything about it. The UK and the US are all best friends with China, for God's sake.

And these poor people are living in fear and oppression.

It makes me want to cry.
