TELL ME TELL ME - RAINBOW
"BUT IN THE END, IT'S JUST A MAZE"

» Personality

MinRin most of the time just wants to be alone and do any one of her many hobbies. She isn't exactly shy, more she's had her taste of being in the crowds and even the spotlight and now she chooses to get away {At least that's what she tells herself.} That doesn't mean she isn't shy, though, she is. Unless you're talking to her, she really won't approach you. Even when you do start talking to her, it probably won't last long unless it really sparks her interest, but honestly most people don't even want to talk to her.

MinRin isn't very girly at all, actually. She dropped that when she was 12, but she is a hopeless romantic no matter how much she denies it and hides it. After all the random games and books she's read, she isn't to clueless on the subject, even though she pretends to be. She is innocent, though, and has never dated nor does she plan on dating any time soon. Unless you need advice, that side won't really show. She isn't too in touch with her feelings, either. She HATES crying and hardly ever does {in public}. Most emotions like sadness or confusion lead to slight anger and frustration which she tries to keep under control. She is a "phoenix", though.

Although MinRin can sing really well, she rarely does it in public and if she does she'll turn invisible if anyone comes near. She rather rap and seem cool then expose her voice. Even though it's great, she always finds mistakes and is actually afraid of ridicule, though no one would ever mess with her.

After moving to South Korea, she rarely does sports unless it's alone or at night.

No matter how cold MinRin seems, she does have a "heart of gold" and hides her vulnerability.

» Background

MinRin used to be a really sweet girl. She would laugh, play around, and act like any normal young girl would. Born in Japan, she was into all the cute, bubbly stuff like most little girls were. Around second grade, she started to grow out of all that and started to really appreciate sports. She was very good, and this led to jealousy of both boys and girls alike. MinRin would beat out the boys, and gain the attention the girls wanted from them. Girls probably would have bullied her if most of them weren't already her friend, which they were. She was always a social and made friends with almost everyone she met. They loved her because she was a class clown, and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind either.

Maturing quickly, yet still keeping hold of her childish antics, she grew into loving sports, boy clothes, and after hanging out with all the guys she also grew to love videogames, anime, and manga. Under all of this, though, was a girl who truly loved music, reading, and learning. All these qualities came from her mom, who was actually a former singer, still popular back in South Korea.

At the end of fifth grade, her parents informed her and her older brother that they were moving to South Korea, where both her parents are from. MinRin, unlike her brother, was not happy about this at all. She pleaded with her parents to not move, but it was no use. They moved over right after the sixth grade had started. Moving to Mokpo wasn't too bad for her, since she loved beaches and her parents showed her a bunch of places they used to visit as kids. Once she got into school, it all went downhill. MinRin's boyish nature didn't work well with the boys, since there aren't many girls like that there, and the girls made fun of her saying that the only "pretty" feature on her was her long, wavy hair she had kept her whole life. Even her good nature and class clown attitude didn't work for her. She found only acquaintances who didn't want to hang out with her in fear of being bullied along with her.

From then on, her life was a downward spiral. Her brother tried to help, but at times made it worse due to his teasing nature. MinRin ended up cutting her hair and buying more and more boy clothes. She even resorted to changing her surname to Bong, that way people would think she was stronger and leave her alone. Her parents supported her in anything she did and agreed with no arguments other than advice which she took to heart.

These changes also led to people thinking she was a boy, which didn't really matter much, it actually led to less criticism from the girls. Unfortunately, this also led to being crushed madly upon by various girls thinking she was some new [short, adorable] "kingka" {or something}. Some even confess. This is where she draws the line. She likes boys, plain and simple, and she know they are the same. The farthest she will ever go with a girl is sisterhood, but she has to many trust issues to even remotely get close to that. She will not deceive people and break hearts without caring. She has a heart.

» Appearance

MinRin is really small in almost every way... or at least a bit under average. She about 5' 3/4" and has small fingers, small mouth, small ears, and a pretty small head, which make it hard to find boy hats that she likes. Also, she has small feet, which doesn't help in finding boy shoes. She looks around 11-12, probably since her sizes haven't changed since then.

She's a little pudgy in the cheeks, but overall she does have a lot of muscle. Not to much, considering she's only 117 pounds. Her fashion is very boyish, but she isn't one for stiff, uncomfortable clothes, like her uniform {which she made sure her parents got the boy version of}. She will usually stick to loose, but not too loose. Jeans that feel like jeggings, T-shirts, tank tops, and comfy sweaters make up most of her wardrobe, along with all the hats she has.

She isn't too fashionable, so she relies on looking to her brother for hints and tips, even though he just wants her to be in a dress or skirt. Borrows some of her brothers clothes, as well. Girliest things on her: Her eyes and her earrings.

MY MY - A PINK
"YOU'RE ALWAYS IN MY HEART"

Nickname: DaeDae (Backup: Myungie)
Season: Summer
Power: Telepathy
Date of Birth: June 28, 1996 (Backup: March 13, 1996)
Age: 17
Place of Birth: Gwangju, South Korea (Backup: Seoul, South Korea)
Hometown: Busan, South Korea (Backup: Seoul, South Korea)
Ethnicity: Korean
Languages: Korean - Fluent (Backup: Korean - Fluent, Japanese - Semi-Fluent)

» Personality

Handsome, intelligent, wealthy, conceited, haughty, and a heart throb. These were the things that made Daehyun a regular teenage jerk. He didn't care for much other than himself and played girls like pretty little marionettes. It's a wonder why he was so popular, but with all his money, top grades, and fan base to defend him, it was no wonder he was. Confusing, yes, but that's the way he liked to keep things. Always coming back with some snarky comment, sending people for a loop, that was just his style. He hated being wrong, and made it impossible for anyone to prove him wrong. Why would anyone want to anyway? Of course, men { yes, MEN } envied him and girls {though impossible} wanted to marry him, but barely anyone made an effort to even speak with him. Teachers never asked him questions, only listened to his answers, and only spoke to congratulate him. Girls were not allowed to speak with him or else face being shot down {almost literally} by his fan base or by himself. Same with boys. His only companions were a select few he had grown up with whom he felt only slightly vulnerable toward, but overall he trusted. Daehyun only moderately likes his hectic life of screaming fan girls and anonymous hate messages. His escape, music. With an angelic voice, it's just another thing to flaunt, but he actually loves music. It's the one thing keeping him sane. { Yes, everything else is covering the fact he's falling of the edge, arraso? = ~ = }

» Background

Grew up in a wealthy home, being told he was the best and getting {practically} whatever he wanted. Parents, though, barely speak with him and left the raising of their child to the maids while they continued to run their large corporation. Hasn't had many girlfriends, but each one had something he wanted and once he had it, he was done. That was how he was taught. Raised to run the company, his music dream was shot down at a very young age, and was supposed to be replaced with a love to win. That didn't stop him from joining his group of friends in making music underground. "Down" there, he could be whatever he wanted and chose to let go of the arrogant personality he kept up everywhere else and turn into, what he believed to be, his true self. He could never let his parents find out in fears of being disowned. Never truly felt loved { Ever... Making a point here. }

» Interactions

  • When MinRin arrived at his school, Daehyun was slightly afraid to lose a large portion of his fan group to this new [adorable, yet cold] "boy" and turned to pointing out some of "his" flaws. (Choppy haircut, messy uniform, girly features, height, otaku etc.)
  • MinRin caught Daehyun with a girl trying to confess to him and witnessed him, after a slight look of pity {like he wasn't going to like what he was about to do}, patronize her to the point of tears. MinRin, not wanting to witness another getting hurt by this jerk, came out yelling, shoved Daehyun, took the girls hand and left before Daehyun could utter a word.
  • MinRin usually sang on the roof of her new school to vent and be alone. Daehyun had heard her once, and continued to come back to listen to her sing. Intrigued and enchanted by her voice, he finally decided to see who was behind the voice. This was how he found out MinRin was actually a girl and could sing like an angel. This didn't exactly make him fall for her though.
  • They're shipped by their fan bases. { Yes, MinRin did get a fan base. "He's" a cute kid. XD } Believed to have a love-hate relationship and have been the talk of the school. This making their hate for each other grow even more.

» Relationship

Daehyun barely ever looks at the girl, and when he does, he makes sure to give her a snarky smirk, a death glare that could freeze any "normal" student, an insult of some sort, or anything to show his burning hate for the girl. She usually ignores him, and when he does insult her, she chuckles and walks away, only infuriating him more to her great pleasure. Both grateful to not be in the same grade, they try to avoid each other as much as possible.

Comments: The stuff in { } are kind of like author's notes. Sorry if it confused you. ^ - ^' This was written over the course of 5-6 days to my business, so if they're any inconsistencies, I apologize. I purposely left out a lot of details just in case you wanted something changed. For example, the brother's name/age, the father's job, the parents of Daehyun's jobs, Daehyun's complete past, how their interactions went down, etc. I couldn't help but put in some emoticons. It was so hard not to. > w < This wasn't my best work since the majority of the time it was really early or I was rushing to write this. I didn't want to, but I wanted to get it done for you ASAP.

Contact me for any questions. Anything.

Suggestions: If it wasn't clear, Daehyun is actually nice, it's just he doesn't know how to show it, mostly because of fear. Many fears, like losing the respect of his parents and classmates. Plus, he doesn't know what he would do if he changed. That kind of thing... it's just a suggestion, though. It might be too cheesy... unless you do it well. o u o I don't know how he would find his power, but he'd probably use it to bother MinRin more. I'll leave that to your imagination.

Don't make MinRin desperate for friends, and I hope you make her have strong relationships between her and her family members, especially her brother. Maybe, just maybe, you could make her egg on the fan bases. Like with winks to the girls or random charisma. No aegyo [unless they beg or if she's competing with Daehyun for the girl's attention]. All of this will be to piss of Daehyun and it wouldn't affect her since she doesn't care that the they think she's a boy. She wouldn't take it to far though, since she doesn't like to play with people, and she would make sure not to be alone with any girl.

I'm sorry if this was really extensive and has mistakes. I don't have time to edit even though I want to.

Scene Requests:

For her power discoveries -

This was the time when MinRin figured out she could turn invisible. Once, after coming home from school with her new look, she suddenly was hit with a wave of sadness and depression after still not being accepted by kids {other than the random fan girl}. Walking in through the door, her family looked up with wide eyes and her mother practically screamed her head off. She closed the door and asked her mother what was wrong. Her brother suddenly began to tear up saying things like he was sorry to his sister for not being better to her and how he wishes they had more time. Her father, becoming aware of what everyone assumed, came over to comfort her mother who was also becoming hysterical. Minrin started to laugh nervously, walked over and bopped her brother calling him a babo.

She then noticed her hand was nowhere to be seen. {You can probably continue from that, right? It's getting late, sorry.}

- Backup Plotline: How she found her power -

After coming home with her new look, and not making any progress in the category of friends, MinRin began to cry as on her walk home. Approaching her front door, she noticed the knob was lower than usual. About to celebrate mentally about finally growing, she noticed that she was actually a couple feet of the ground. Absolutley stunned, she realized the more panic she got, the higher she went. Instead of trying to calm down, she decided to see how this worked.

Later, after many near death experiences and bruises/scrapes from buildings to trees, MinRin somewhat got the hang of this new power and decided to do one of her favorite past times: mess with her brother. She came near to her brother's window and began to tap on it. When he came near, she'd fly to the side. This went on till he became "on edge". MinRin then flew to the roof above his room and stomped around just enough for him to here it. She finally stopped and flew in through his window when he went running to there mother, convinced there new house was haunted. He came back and was stunned to find MinRin dying of laughter on his bed.

I had more, but I forgot. -__-
