Hana is a very conservative and someone with a shy personality to most people, she is laidback and chilled when it comes to situations but sometimes the most littlest things can make her worry and she gets really scared and things of a worse case. Another thing about her is that she tends to be quite moody depending on the situation of weather, work and learning. The girl is not so fond of facing her fears and she isn't someone who tries to do so because she feels that it's best not to ( if it's something like heights especially ). She has a really short temper which makes her have a mental breakdown if the situation is not fixed by the time it should. She is really cold around those who she doesn't like but that's mostly off camera since she tends to be more civil to those who give critism and bad mouthing on stage to make sure she doesn't ruin her, but most importantly her group's reputation. She is a clever girl though, with a wide range of vocabulary.Hana is also quite fragile and when someone in her family or a close person to her is hurt she will feel that pain as well, she can be like a shoulder to cry on if you needed it the most. She doesn't look down to people who aren't as talented but instead she agrees that she is one of them as well.

She find love adorable and sweet and wants to experience it in some point in her life since she never actually had true love ( only admiration to certain idols who she finds inspirational ). Hana is liked by the elderly as they like the way she volunteers at several places like flower shops since she adores them. She is not opinionative but when she needs to be she will tell the truth but she tries to say it nicer than what she could've said it like. The girl is very random and will often say some crazy ideas so if there is an awkward silence she'll brighten up the mood by saying something to make everyone love. She's very friendly to new people and kids especially her sunbaes and hoobaes so she has many friends in SMENT. and has some followers and fans that are hoobaes of hers and everyone already expected her to debut because of the music video invitations but she didn't want to rush into something she wasn't ready to do so she just worked hard and was her determined self ( with some procrastinating along the way which she has a habit of doing ) and reached to the top debuting in the upcoming girlgroup SMENT. had planned eversince last year.

She was not raised as a super class model or attended a fancy school like k-dramas people may see, instead she was the daughter of a flower place owner and a noodle shop owner who had a decent pay and was known around the streets of where she lived, her family life was simple but she loved her family a lot and it was a very normal life with only the slightest drama at different times, she has one older brother who is already 26 years old and married and a younger brother who is only 17 years old. Her family may only have 5 including herself but it was surely a handful. Everything was well and eversince Hana was a child, she loved to sing and perform in her family reunion talent show and also her school plays of different fairytales, since she was and is the only girl, she was spoilt very much especially by her father, the typical daddy's girl who would always come after school to eat some of his noodles which tasted absolutely delicious in her opinion and so was the review when the noodle shop had first opened. The girl growing up had hard times especially as a teen but she decided to be independent at the age of 16 when she joined a cafe around Myeongdeong which sold many nice beverages like bubble tea and coffee, she enjoyed her job and learned many artistic food skills which she liked to use at home, she was pretty helpful and would earn a decent amount as well. Usually when she was working around her school as well she would hum songs and sing a little with an earphone in her ear to different songs, she had never stopped singing, even if she tried not to, it was a habit that could not be controlled no matter what she did. So what she had done was heard of the SMENT. audition in Seoul, it was in the evening and it wasn't technically a huge audition, they had auditions everysingle week, hardly anyone was there in the room and only 50 were there along with her. Hana had sang one of her favourite songs by one of her idols ' Kim Taeyeon ' from Girls' Generation who she looked a lot like from what apparently people said, the song was ' Can You Hear Me ' and surprisingly the judges had seen something in her and she was accepted into the company.

When she had entered SMENT. life there wasn't technically easy at first only about 15 trainees out of the whole bunch were selected and she wasn't really good at making friends with her shy personality so what she had done was she had tried to make friends with those who got in and eventually did and the girls' name was ' Kim Nari ' who was about the same age as her, they luckily had the same classes and supported each other all the time, eventhough life there was like competition, when they were together they would not care about it as they believed friendship was better than all of that. When the both of them were 19 years old, Hana had got some shocking and unfortunate news that Nari would be transfered to another entertainment which was JYPENT. She couldn't be anymore happy for her for being noticed but she was deeply upset by the fact that her only best friend of all the friends she had made was going to leave. During the day she kept Nari's words to heart and Hana had always said to herself  ' focus about the goal and not the things distracting ' but she didn't find 'distractions' the distractions, they were the help that got  you to where you were. In total, Hana had trained for nearly 4 years or so and it was a hard life to get school work and trainee work together, she wasn't the best trainee but she tried to never give up eventhough there were times when she had negative thoughts and how she would count the days. She could've debuted earlier but before being chosen, eventhough she had a beautiful voice, she was really chubby and she had to lose a lot of weight just to prove to a certain 'someone' that she would do so just for him which she had accomplished during that time as well and everything paid off in the end. She was now to be a member of new girlgroup 'GIRLFRIEND' which SMENT. was to debut in the 1st half of 2014.

Baekhyun is a loud guy who talks a lot and so adorable like a puppy, he's talented and has a gentleman personality and baby faced. He is a very caring guy who looks after all his hoobaes and admires/respects all his sunbaes, he's like a perfect guy but he does have some certain flaws such as being someone who doesn't notice the real story until explained so he is like a lost puppy at certain moments but he is someone who tries to help even if it's a little when he feels sorry for the person such as Hana when she was still a chubby trainee who had joined SMENT. and as he saw her around he couldn't help but feel sorry for the fact that she was being insulted and laughed at without her knowing behind her back because of her unhealthy weight. No one would even partner up with her so he offered to do so and he was a very popular guy because of his husky dreamy voice and how he would swoon a girl with just a simple stare however he is cowardly sometimes and he can get into 'baby baek ' mode when he isn't the manliest he could be ( such as when he was in EXO's showtime in the haunted house all by himself ). Baekhyun is the type of guy who would be chilled as well but he will try to think of a positive plan like a team leader although he tends to be a pabo at times when he can't really understand what a girl is seriously going through. Moreover the boy is a tease who likes to ruffle Hana's hair and pat her head even though he already knew that she did not like it when anyone had done that to her and also he likes to be the attention when it comes to girls he finds interesting in some way so he enjoys having Hana follow him around like a lost puppy as he has someone who will hang out and stick with him wherever he will go unlike weird and dangerous sasaengs, Hana is nothing like them.

Baekhyun is competitive as well so if he loses he won't take the news as well as the weather forecast predicting a cloudy day, sometimes he tends to be sarcastic but it's not like him to do so, instead he pranks and jokes around but he's so bad when it comes to having empathy that he doesn't even now whether the person he had made the promise/deal to actually took it seriously. He is a person who doesn't really have hope if he looks at that something/someone who doesn't have potential to exactly lose or gain what they need but he has a little positiveness and he will be encouraging, his jealousy is adorable as he does his usual 'baekgu' pout which he is known for and no one can really say no to such a cute and desirable face such as his when he puts it on so he likes to things the way he wants it but he will listen to others like a good person should. Baekhyun is mostly close to his EXO members and people who have lived with him for a while and if you aren't as close he may appear like a cold, handsome ice prince you'd see in a drama but really he is a goofy and smiley guy in the Beagle Line, just don't get him angry because he doesn't look good angry and it who knows what he will do to sort it out.

As said above, Hana wasn't the best looking trainee applicant, she was 164cm with the weight of about 80kg which was not a good BMI at all however as the judges liked her they accepted her into the accompany as she still had 'potential'. When she was accepted her trainer did push her but it was all up to her to exactly decide whether she was to lose the weight she needed to, ' eat like a queen in the morning, a commoner for lunch and a begger at night '. At first, Hana wasn't technically using any method except trying to learn how to do the choreography in the songs which was hard for her to do, but during a practice when she was munching on her fathers steamed buns which he had made for her, she had bumped into someone and she landed onto the floor, ( of course, it was hard for her to exactly get up ) so all she could do was sit and look up at who it was and he was really handsome, like a prince she firstly thought. He kindly helped her up ( which was hard to do but they got there in the end ) and she bowed, she had already spent 3 years and 10 months in the company, the trainers believed she had no hope left as her weight only went down by 2kg but she gained it again. Baekhyun had saved her from many embarrassing moments, eventhough he was a new trainee, he was very popular amongst the girls and a very charming guy. Baekhyun and Hana became good friends eversince that moment as they went to Hana's cafe workplace and hung out together, she knew girls were gossiping behind her back and Baekhyun had defended her, she was really grateful and day by day she fell inlove with him. Then suddenly one day during her time when she was munching on something ( once again ) she had actually overheard Baekhyun with one of the members of the new boygroup.. Chanyeol? if she remembered correctly ( they were going to debut meaning she wouldn't see Baekhyun as often or ever anymore ) he had told Chanyeol his ideal type as they were talking about that certain topic. He said he wanted his girl to be sweet and caring and a shy type after his first choice which was KIM TAEYEON from SNSD. Everything was well and Hana thought she could be his 'it' girl but when she heard 'skinny' it all went away for her and she felt like a storm cloud was above her. 

She quickly went to her trainer and asked whether it was possible to lose at least 35kg in the next 29 weeks and the teacher said it was possible and it all depended at the amount of effort she exactly put into losing all that weight so before Baekhyun was about to be announced she said if she had lost 35kg in 29 weeks then what would he think of her, he did not say his answer but a simple 'we'll see' and he hugged her goodbye and left. Hana was determined and had started to cut down and listened to the advice when eating her food and the schedule, everyone was very shocked by how determined she was, her family told her to eat more but she just shook her head and said no and only took the portion she needed. Days went to Weeks which went to Months and it ended up with Hana being the weight of 46kg. It was hard for her having to be tired and fall back onto the floor once in a day but she had finally made it, no one even recognised her anymore because she looked so different, much more attractive than she was before. With Baekhyun being back and resting a little as the focus was on SNSD and TVXQ for the first few months, EXO was around and she had went passed Baekhyun but he had never noticed her one bit... .
