These Kinds Of Blogs

So, I'm not trying to offend anyone, or cause any drama in the upcoming statements I would like to say.

Blogs like these are just a bunch of opinions. The people behind these blogs do have a right to create a blog like that.

But I have a question for these kinds of blogs. What's the merits of making those kinds of blogs? You offend certain people. You make other people laugh. But what does it do for you? Does it satisfy you to point out the flaws in other fanfics? Does it make you happy if the other person is offended?

It may seem like I'm pissed off at the people behind these types of blogs, but honestly, I'm just curious.

If I was featured on that blog for having a fail fanfic, I would cry. Going to be honest. I would cry. Why? Because all my hard work and efforts to make a wonderful story has been pushed down the drain.

Think about it. If it were you to have your fanfic featured in a fail fanfic blog?

Over-reacting over something like this is NORMAL. Ignoring something like this is NORMAL. Crying is NORMAL. They are all normal! It's your emotion, and no one could tell you a good to react. Because if you hold it all in, it's just hurting you even more. I say it's better to let it all out, instead of keeping it all in.

Okay, now for the things I was a bit offended on. The person behind asianfanficsfail doesn't think it's right to have a fanfic in your own language? This offends me, because I'm Filipino! If a person was an author of a Tagalog fanfic, I think it's alright! What's wrong with having a story in another language? Not everything can be in English. Deal with it.

It's NOT A FAIL to have a story in another language. What if someone didn't understand English? Then all English fanfics would be a fail.

I'm going to be honest and say that some of the blog posts in those 'fanficsfail' blogs are truly fails! But, if you and ONLY YOU found it a fail, it's not a fail. Understand? There's no law that ______'s story is a fail. There's no seal that ______'s story is nationally a fail.

And for people who are haters towards blogs like these, don't tell them to get the anywhere. Do things in a calm and organized way. Cursing them out or bashing them won't help anyone. It won't resolve anything. It won't make anyone happy. And if you do feel happy, then I think you should think about the other person's feelings.

I do not support blogs like these though. I do not think it's fun to point out flaws in a story. If I owned a blog like that and started hating on everyone's stories, I'll feel like a loner who think that I'm all that. Which I'm not.

Yes, this was a rant. Yes, it may relate to you. No, it may not. But, I have a question that everyone should answer, if you were affected or not:

Do you support blogs like these?

THIS WAS A RANT. NO ONE SHOULD FEEL OFFENDED. Talk to me personally if you do feel offended. I will apologize for my recklessness. Thank you for reading.

I support these blogs merely because criticism and everyone should learn from it. Yes, it is humiliating to have your fanfics posted up there, but then again, didn't you post your story on a public site for everyone to see?

I wouldn't know how I feel if my fanfic was deemed crappy. I remember requesting a review of one of my stories and I got a D score because it was cliche. I was hurt but I made a note to myself not to write things like that anymore.

It's all about how you are wired. Some will cry. Some will shrug. It depends on each person.

Honestly, I would cry too. I'd be a bit happy that I would see my "fails" and mistakes, but to just "put it out there" for everyone and anyone to see.... it's humiliating and heart-shattering....

I agree, I would be the same if someone did that to my ff and I already think its crappy so having that would just make it worse:/
