Personality — "I am not who you think I am" Heejoo is someone that takes care of her image more than anyone. She has things that she needs to protect and she sometimes just isn't herself when she is around strangers. She can put on a nice smile and a calm expression but that's all an act because to live the dream that she wants which is to be an idol, she has to hide her real self from the public, she was sure, nobody would like to see her real personality. She can be the wittiest, the one with the most aegyo, the one who helps the staffs a lot, the one that is always with a sweet smile but none of it may be true. It's not that she hates it, it's just isn't her, she don't help people that much, she isn't that nice but she is doing it for a good image.

"Are you ready to see my ugly side?" Joo is different, she is always smiling, sweet with the other idols and friendly with the rookies. Heejoo on the other hand, talks whatever is in her mind. She needs to be comfortable with the person enough or hate that person a lot to be honest with them. Heejoo and Joo is a totally different person in one body. Fake? No, she isn't fake, like I said earlier, she is protecting her image as an idol and as a role model to the public eye. Heejoo is very firm and passionate whenever it come to her dream so if there is anyway anyone is trying to be in her way, just remember that she isn't going to let the person get away with it. 

"You can leave if you want to" Heejoo is somewhat a mean person. If you consider telling the truth in a way that it can hurt and make people die a little inside is mean, then yes, she is the meanest person. She doesn't like talking behind people's back, she will just say it straight to their face what she doesn't like about them. Heejoo doesn't like the feeling of keeping grudges so she expects herself to step up to the other person and settle things with them as soon as possible in person. She doesn't care if it hurts their pride or feelings, for example; to her team members, if they aren't focusing during practise, she will be the one that pissed of the most and if there is anything that will irritate her further.... just be ready to taste her wrath, her poisonuous mouth.

"I care about you more than anyone would" Heejoo may appear strong and rude to people she is close with. However, that just means that she loves them so much that she wants them to change for the better. To be honest, she is fine with people criticising or even curse her attitude because she knows that she isn't perfect too. She knows that people who approaches her to change her is those who actually cares for her. She can take criticism and curses well, so she hopes that people would accept that she might do the same because she may just be the person that cares about them more than anyone would.

Background — For someone who doesn't have much attention from her own family, I don't think they deserve to be in this segment of the background, let's just start with her when she was 12. Heejoo is known for being a good singer in her school and she has already been interested in the music industry. She has thought of following her idols like Fink.l and Big Mama who sadly couldn't make it big. She followed Swi.T and more idols but as time passes by, younger generation idols came and she was surprised by how good they were. She was very interested in DBSK and Big Bang. On her own, with her own effort and her parent's money, she went for classes to improve her singing, she made sure she could dance well just like SNSD's Hyoyeon. She continued taking classes till she is 14. At age 15, she started to be more interested in dancing so she continued dancing for a year.

As she grew up to become a more talented lady, she was quite stuck up,  a person that looks down on people who is lacking. She became like a bully, a person that took the time to pick on other in school. Her parents was even called in for this and she was transfered to other school but even after those problems she made in school, she still couldn't get attention from her parents. They would smile at her and say "it's ok.. they don't understand how sometimes a child can be stubborn when they are growing up". Heejoo had always had this words in mind when she is doing things that are wrong. She doesn't feel guilty instead she somehow feels that her parents would be behind her to change the situation and make her the one that is never in the wrong. However, Heejoo had to learn the hard way that what her parents had 'drilled' into her mind was wrong. She was involved as an iljin member at age 15 but she couldn't last as long as she thought she could. They were all great friends to her but somehow they turned into monsters. They wanted to force her into drugs and having with their oppas for drugs. Heejoo nearly went for it but she was stopped by her brother, who came to rescue her one day. Just when she thought none of her family would care, her brother came, got beaten for her and she left the iljin group.

Her brother started to take care of her and at age 16, after she was settled down and got the best attention she could get from her own brother, she went back to classes and without her knowing, her dance teacher sent her singing tape to SM. Her dance teacher had also told her to video tape herself and send it to an entertainment company. The two company that she chose is SM and YG but somehow YG didn't get back to her and SM called her for a live audition and she accepted her for her great dancing and singing skills. 

Likes — 

• Late night snacks especially if its kimbap
• Drinking beer and soju (she is a good drinker)
• Kimchi

• Going to underground gigs or listening to bands buskering at Hongdae

Dislikes — 

• Anime / Manga
• Expresso

• Cooking difficult meals, (lets just say she can't cook which explain why she hates cooking)
• Hot/Warm weather which can make her perspire
• Lazy people

Hobbies — 

• Writing lyrics for any instrumental she finds on youtube.
• Watching variety shows
• Writing blogs, people doesn't know its her because her id and email is very different.
• Playing guitar during her free time.
• Composing music randomly, songs that she composes has improved while they were on hiatus

Habits — 

• Patting someone's head when she is happy about what that person did, sometimes she doesn't care if they are older.
• her lips when she is nervous
• She can't stop her legs from shaking when she is sitting down
• Landing her head on something that she finds comfortable if she is tired.

Trivia — 

• Heejoo's place to escape is either the noraebang or her own room
• Heejoo has thought of tattoos but decided not to do it.
• Heejoo has worked on a choreography with one of the choreographers she is close with, Ddong Tae and she is planning to work with him if they were to have any comeback.
• Heejoo has to start the morning with at least something warm to drink for example, mocha or tea or even hot chocolate.
• Hejoo is known to be ramen monster, she can just look for ramen at 3AM in the morning, not worrying about her diet but she is always scolded because of this. (she can't help it)
• She likes Samsung better than iphone and she has used both model before. 
• She doesn't like the though of plastic surgery and doesn't want to have it because she believes she doesn't need it.
• She somehow does a lot of skinships but she doesn't realise it.
