Personality: Hong Da Som gives off the intimidating aura because of her y stage persona and edgy clothes. She's polite when first meeting people but doesn't talk as much because she's shy and isn't comfortable around people she firt meets. It doesn't take too long though for her to warm up to someone. After warming up to someone she will talk just a little more but she isn't the type of person who talks A LOT.  When you stick around for a while you'll start to notice that she's always joyful and smiling. She's never down and never shows people that she's going through a hard time. She's simply a Happy Virus.

She's constantly taking selcas throughout the day to keep her fans updated because she loves her fans. She's known as the Wink Selca Queen because her signature look is her wink. Background: Hong Da Som was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 18th, 1993. Growing up she was always the same as she is now. She was an only child so she got a lot of attention that she didn't want, especially from her aunt since she was the only niece and girl that she could shop for. Her grades were average in school. She wasn't the smartest and she wasn't the dumbest she was just averagely smart. There wasn't really anything special about her until she found dancing.

She moved to Seattle, Washington when she was 13 years old to study for 3 years. While in Seattle she discovered hip-hop music and hip-hop dancing. Her mother enrolled her to Elite Dance Studio located in Lynnwood, Washington and she's been dancing ever since. Her father doesn't support her but her mother told her to keep doing what she loved and she'll succeed even if her father didn't like it. While in Seattle she also started watching anime since it was always too rainy to go outside and do something. People at school called her nerdy for just sitting around and watching anime but she made one true best friend. 

She cameback to Seoul when she was 16 years old. When she got back, the very first thing she did was bleach her hair blonde. After that she went back to her black hair and dyed the tips a pastel pink. Let's just say that she had a lot of hairstyles but purple and turquiose are her favorites because she thinks they look good on her. While she was experimenting with hair colors and watching anime, she continued to dance and work towards her dream. She finally got the chance when SM Entertainment was holding open auditions. After training at SM Entertainment for two years she quit and joined Cube Entertainment.

Mother | Hong Ji Eun | 49 | House wife | She's a sweet and caring person. She's actually very level-headed and polite. Unlike her daughter, she is not blunt and likes to sugar coat things. | Since Da Som is an idol and can't visit home very often, she calls or video calls her mom a lot. They love to just chat and talk about their day together. Her mother is the one she always likes to call when she's having a hard time at practice. Hong Ji Eun supports Da Som's career choice 100%.

Father | Hong Seung Hyun | 52 | CEO of Samsung | He's a responsible person and caring. Like Da Som he's very blunt but not so much level-headed like his wife. | He doesn't support Da Som at all because he wants her to be a successful business woman or at least marry someone rich and decent. Since she was 13 he never supported her. He was also very against her dying her hair all those colors but Ji Eun said she could do it because she wanted her daughter to be unique. They don't talk often and don't see each other often anymore.

She's polite at first but after she decides you can deal with her, she'll go crazy and act all Westside (if you know what that means lol). | Renee Guan was born and raised in West Seattle (hense the term Westside). They both met at Elite Dance Studio even though Renee was in the ballet department. They love hanging out at the mall together and acting crazy togther. They just like to let lose around each other and have fun. Renee came to Korea for unversity and attends Seoul Institute of The Arts but before she came, they kept in touch through SNS.

Stephanie Kim | 21 | University Student | Level-headed and a calm type of person. She isn't one to take sides and tries to settle arguments peacefully. She doesn't judge people quickly and likes to help in any way as possible. She's a caring person and is almost like Da Som's mother. She's also a great listener.  | Stephanie was a year above Da Som when she first came to Seattle but she still hung out with Da Som and showed her around, helping her with her English. Since Stephanie is a student studying in business she's always busy and they don't often have time to see each other but when they do, they just like to sit down and talk. If yes, state how they met?: Da Som was 17 and Kris was 20 when they first met. They met when they were both SM Entertainment trainees. The relationship started out as them just being friends and training together every once in a while but slowly Kris began to work up the courage to ask her out on a real date even though he knew he could get in trouble by the company.

Interactions: Since they are both idols they can't meet up very often but text and call during the day when they're on breaks or on stand-by. Before when they weren't public she would go over to his dorm and tell the media that she was visiting Girls Generation.

Reason of rivalry: They aren't technically rivals. They get along and love to hangout with each other when they can. It's mainly an idol thing. It's kind of like fandoms say that two groups are rivals when they're actually friends but the real rival is between the two fandoms. SM constantly likes to compare Da Som to Jong In which really annoys the both of them because they both are good and talented. It's always the fandom that make them rivals. Jong In fans like to bash Da Som and say he's better while Da Som fans likes to bash Jong in and say she's better.

Relationship: Close friends but not best friends.

Interactions: Since they are both idols and still need to maintain a good image, they don't interact outisde of work. For instance, when they see each other at a music show or award show they will stop and have a little conversation about how they're doing. Trainee background: To be honest, other trainees didn't like her but were not mean towards her because of her shy and smiley personality. At first when they first met her they thought she was intimidating and going to be another"Ice Princess" trainee. Ever since trainee days her dancing persona was y and she could easily pull it off.
