B.A.P who is entering their 2nd year after debuting, has released a y track by the name of “Rain Sound” for their second mini album – “One Shot”. They also wrapped up their highly anticipated first concert, B.A.P. Live on Earth, in Korea recently. This month, it is the “elderly” line to do their interview.

The “elderly” line share the same ideal type?

YG : This month, it is the elderly line again. Other than sharing the same age, what else do we have in common?

HC : We both graduated from senior high right? [Laughs]

YG : Ah! Ideal types! We have the same ideal types.

HC : Oh~ Yes yes. Girls that I find who are “not bad~” , Yongguk will also say that she is “not bad~” too. This doesn’t only apply to looks but also their personality. We like the overall feel of a gentle and straightforward girl.

YG : Yes, girls who look gentle and are gentle within.

HC : Even though we have the same ideal type in mind, I think that we would not become love rivals.

YG : Who knows! [Laughs] Hmm, what differences do we have then?

HC : Yongguk eats very little, and has no interest in food. However, I am a glutton and I love to eat. That is a really incredible difference.

YG : Himchan talks in his sleep. That’s so interesting. Although Junhong also talks in his sleep, Himchan is #1 at this. [Laughs] There was once I came back from the studio and everyone was asleep. When I entered the dorm, Himchan asked, “Where is that at?”. So I stopped and asked, “What?”. When I looked closer, Himchan was sleeping!

HC : Ah really?! I don’t even remember anything……

YG : Oh, but that was a really interesting conversation. Himchan is the greaseball of BAP and the person who brings everyone in BAP together. Whatever I can’t do, I know he will always have my back.

HC : If I am the glue of BAP, Yongguk is the core of BAP, the motivation. When I met Yongguk, it was like destiny. To be able to promote as a group, it takes a huge amount of fate. Even if we didn’t debut as BAP, I am sure we will meet somewhere in life.

YG : I can predict that we will meet in a barbeque shop!

-HC & YG bursts in laughter-

YG : We were once asked a question, “Which member is the most mysterious and mystifying?” Almost everyone answered, “Jongup!”. This must be very obvious. [Laughs]

HC : Mhmm, I think it is Jongup too. He is very faithful (*) to the things he likes. There was once, for the whole day, all Jongup did was talk to us about Chris Brown to all the members. Jongup is a very understanding child but I don’t understand why he is so mysterious.

YG : So, BAP is entering our second year, if you were to rate yourself, how much would you give yourself? I would give myself 100!

HC : I’ll only give myself around 10 points.

YG : Why~?

HC : To be subjective, I’ll give myself 100 points. But since we are still new to the industry, 10 points represent the thought of having to work harder.

YG : Oh I see. What do you wish to accomplish this year then?

HC : There’s so much I want to do. I want to accomplish learning the guitar and also there’s so much more I want to learn. What about you, Yongguk?

YG : I want to produce albums. Since I am already involved in writing lyrics and having some say in producing our albums, I still have a huge interest in wanting to produce an entire album. Even though producing an album is something that someone can accomplish even without a music background, I hope that with a music background, I can produce an even better album. So therefore, I want to learn how to produce an album.

HC : Yongguk is the type of person that stands by the sentence, “do what you want, love what you do”. To be able to write lyrics nonstop, 24/7 happily of his own will, I feel that he is really portraying what the sentence truly means. Thus, I know he can do it! (**)

YG : Making music is really a happy thing to do. Lastly, let’s say something to the readers!

HC : Everytime we appear on Hanryu Pia, to see the support we receive from the Japanese fans, we are very glad. If only there were more and more babyz to love us! From today onwards, we wish that babyz would love us more and more and support us in what we do!
