Its better if you write it down on word document first in case you don't want anything you've written to be lost. If you were to straight away type it out on AFF and not save it or accidentally refresh the page, it's gonna be one heck of a mess. So, I advice you to write it down on Word first. Then only you paste it up here at AFF... Better safe than sorry.

Also, if AFF were to malfunction and lose your chapters - like this one ocurrance where ppl claimed they've lost their chapters and had to rewrite their chapters - you can save that trouble because you have a back-up at word. Well, either Word or some other note application. Or you can just go old-school and write it all down on paper. ^^ But that'll be one job to type back on comp ._. I'm sorry if I sound discouraging, I'm just trying to help really... OTL.. Sorry again, if I'm not helping...

You mean like how do you actually start writing a story here on AFF? You just go to the green part of the screen at the top and click on the pencil that says "Write" and it will open up the screen to create your foreword page. After that, once you save it, it will be in your Stories tab and then you can add chapters from there.
