So this new music stuff.

This is a little review, since I can.

I just finished watching the new music video for Jewelry's "Back it Up." I hate to say that I'm a little disappointed in it. The introduction reminded me of KARA's "Wanna" music video. I'm also not impressed with the whole 1950s theme. It's just something with the whole "I Love Lucy" feel that doesn't connect with me.

Also, what's with the whole flag thing? I mean, first TOP's sporting an American flag suit, which I'm totally fine with. It was a very simplistic suit that he pulled off very well. But this, this is something else. I'm not a fan of all-out sequined clothes. I think the only time I had an issue with their clothes was the whole red, white and blue theme.

The song itself is also disappointing. The hook was a little reminiscent of miss A's "Breathe" for me. The background instrumentation sounds very retro, which I don't mind, but it seemed a little out of place, and at times overpowered the vocals.

But that's just my opinion. You can check out the video here.

There was one song that I recently listened to that I thought was amazing. For those of you who haven't heard of him, Dumbfoundead is a YouTube artist, who focuses mainly on rap. He's done a collaboration with Jay Park and Clara Chung (Clouds) and does his own rapping (Clockwise). Well he's just recently done a rap over Diplo's beat for GD&TOP's "Knock Out." I must say it's pretty clever.

His articulation is exceptional and his rhymes provide classy disses. I must say, my favorite part is his comment about the Asian stereotypes. Check it out here. It's pretty sick.
