BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF HIM DURING SCHOOL He's the model student for everyone. He's always on time, the teachers love him and he's an extremely hard-working and serious student. Even in magic, a class that he definitely can't do well in, he does well in. Of course, when he's outside of class, he transforms into a mushy, but cute bun. While cuddling with all of his friends, his umma tendencies come out and he scolds his hoobaes (or sons as he and Luhan likes to call them) for not doing very well.

PERSONALITY Minseok is the model student for everyone, but sometimes has his over-bearing points. Luhan and Sunhan both find him extremely clingy and whingy, especially when he's craving his cuddles. Minseok can also be over-dramatic, falling on his knees when Luhan refuses a hug, or faking tears when the face leader and Kai won't had over the chicken. He's also quite weak-willed meaning that even if he works hard at something, he doesn't like to start anything he doesn't want, but it also means that he is easily coerced into doing almost anything (especially if you were begging him with puppy-dog eyes and a pout). Due to that personality trait everyone, both teachers and students alike, take advatage of him. It's not very often that you see him not running around doing errands or not helping out a student in need. However, since Minseok is so kind, he doesn't mind his weak-willedness and actually knowingly, untrickedly, helps people out. Being extremely well-known around the academy for his cute looks, kind personality and academic excellence, Minseok naturally became someone that was very approachable and caring to his hoobaes and classmates. He is also hard-working when it comes around exam time.

HISTORY Kim Minseok is actually the boy from her past, Xiumin, but Sunhan doesn't know that. They met officially in school when Sunhan was pranked by Krystal and led into the boys' toilet. He was just exiting the toilets when he bumped into her standing in the front of the door, staring confusedly at the sign she couldn't read. He recognised her immediately, but she obviously had no recollection of him. He brought her to her proper classroom (she was ten minutes late) and Minseok, from then on, began to bother her.
Minseok came form a linage of dhampiris that worked for the Im family. His parents were the guardians of Sunhan's. Minseok knew that if the ones that his parents were guarding were to have a child, he would have to become his/her guardian. But he didn't want or like that job. The Im family dealt with the underworld of the vampire society and were often looked down upon by others. Minseok couldn't understand why his family would bother protecting a family that worthless. He also couldn't understand why the Kims, who were much more respected, did not break away from the Im, why they remained so loyal, despite being able to do so. He had planned to run or let the Im child die if he had to become a guardian. His father got wisp of the plan and immediately Minseok was dragged off by the ear to be disciplined. His father scolded him and told him about the long-lasting friendship between the two families. As this  happened, Minseok's mother burst into the room, proclaiming good news. "The child of Im has been born!" Minseok thought his world had shattered.
The forced five-year-old Minseok had to hold the baby girl in his arms. "She's the one you'll have to guard," they said. Her mother smiled and asked Minseok to name the child. Immediately, he thought of one word. "Sunhan." When they asked him why he answered that that was what he thought she would become. They allowed the name and when Minseok called her by it, the baby Sunhan gurlged and stared up at him with her big violet eyes. At that moment, he felt his world being pieced back together...and that, maybe, being someone's guardian wasn't exactly a bad thing.
They grew up together for the next seven years until the incident happened. The families were attacked by the strigoi and pricolici and Sunhan was carried off by a transformed vampire in the shape of a wolf. Minseok loyally followed after her despite the chaos back at the house. But when he finally caught up, he found her in the hands of a strange couple. He made contact with her after she was taken in, but she had no recollection of him. Minseok was hurt deeply by this, but did not let it waver him. He allowed himself to get caught, only so that he could reintroduce himself as Xiumin. For a year, nothing too bad happened and so, Minseok relaxed, thinking that it was fine to stay here together, but when he saw what she was forced to do afterwards and how she was weakening because she hadn't been feeding, he decided to lead the escapade. However, he hadn't realised that she had also forgotten how to use her vampire powers. Once he saw that she wasn't in the group of children, he rushed to the house, only in time to see the couple brutally eaten.
He also saw the tears of regret that rolled down her cheeks as she drifted off into sub-conciousness. He picked up the blood stained girl that he loved and took her to the remains of the Im household. That day, Xiumin and Minseok vowed to never let Sunhan experience something as terrifying as that again, even if that meant doing something as painful as allowing her to forget all of her past with him.
RELATIONSHIP They are enemies! At least in Sunhan's eyes. Everytime they meet, it seems that he's out to get her. Not only that, Sunhan tends to forget that she ever met Minseok and so, he enjoys 'meeting' her in different ways (such as kissing her and/or hugging her or scaring her with what he knows about her; all these encounters usually end up with a burnt bun.) All Minseok wants for her though is a proper future and subtly helps her out in her studies (telling Yixing to help her.) After all, he is her guardian.
