Because Apparently I Don't Have Any Respect for my Readers
So it's been brought to my attention that I have no respect for my readers. Apparently I don't respect my readers because I haven't updated one of my stories in awhile and that means I don't know how to end it (eventhough it's really just beginning). According to a certain reader of mine, I shouldn't have started this story because I don't know how to end it or I don't want to end it, so in turn that makes me disrespectful to my readers. *pause for dramatic effect*
Well I'm gonna let you in on a not-so-secret-secret of mine: I have the upmost respect for my readers. I constantly thank my readers, subscribers, and upvoters. I love my readers (even the silent ones) and I respect them above all else which is why I am constantly trying my best to update consistently and quickly. I love my readers and they love my stories which is why I continue to write my stories for them. But here's the thing; I currently have 4 on-going stories. Let me say that again....I HAVE FOUR ONGOING STORIES. Which means, I will not always be consistent in updating them. I even put my first story on Hiatus so that I could update my newer ones. I try my best to update quickly and as many times as possible, but that won't always happen. There's this thing called "LIFE FREAKING HATES YOUR AUTHOR-NIM AND CONSTANTLY THROWS CRAP AT HER SO THAT SHE CAN'T UPDATE WHEN SHE WANTS TO" and then there's the other thing called "I GET WRITER'S BLOCK SOMETIMES" that cause me not to update for weeks at a time. So I apologize on my part for that, but for those of you who are getting angry with me for not "respecting" you enough to update everyfreakingday...stop getting angry, you're in the wrong. I have done nothing to disrespect you in any way at all, so stop saying hurtful things to me. I'm trying my best, but being an author is a difficult thing, so please show a little respect, love, and understanding for me and just be patient. I'll always post another chapter, I always do, don't I?
Sincerely,
-Simone Author-nim*
