They are Not the Queens of K-Pop

Sones-SNSD are not the queens of K-Pop. A title such as this is not powerful enough to describe how high they have set the bar for every girl group.

A Queen: a ruler of an independent state. Position inherited by birth. When used as a verb: A woman who behaves in a unpleasant superior way.

A Queen is seen as nothing more than the wife of the king. His trophy. And the King and Queen have no real power, Parliament does. They are merely figure heads, puppets. The Parliament writes, the king and queen only said and do what they are told.

These girls are not queens. Not in this context. The title is superficial. Not even goddesses

They are role models, trail blazers, of not just kpop girl groups but girls in general.

They are a group of talented individuals. These individuals have weaknesses and strengths all their own. Weaknesses that are made up for by the strengths of the others.

They are flawed just like us, they laugh when they're happy and cry when they are hurt. Just like us.(Even if antis treat them as though they are evil heartless people who don't deserve the same respect you would give to any random person on the street.)

They are humble despite their position. They're generous and kind. Not just in charity but in performance.

Though sometimes they seem un energetic during performances, we know they give as much energy as they can. They are busy all of them we see it damn near every day. Jet lag from plane rides, CFs, dramas, solos, OSTs, album recordings, tours, musicals, back to back performances at all hours of the night.

I'm not sure what I can call them. They are truly amazing but queens is not it. They are too good for that.

TO ANTIS of ANY GROUP.

Antis-I understand if you don't like someone's music or a decision they made(plastic surgery-which none of you have absolute undeniable proof of.) But most people in this world have this thing known as feelings. And whether you know it or not peoples feelings are hurt by certain things. Mainly abuse. Verbal, Mental, Emotional, or Physical. Whether you know it or not even idols have those, and when you mercilessly bash them you are hurting those feelings. And some peoples feelings are more sensitive than others

Antis how do you know that idols don't see your mean hurtful comments? How do you know they don't cry or constantly think about the mean things you said? Anti comments on kpop idols MV is no different than cyberbullying some poor kid on Facebook. They're not closed off to social media. They see the mean things you say just like they see things their fans say. And even if they don't go crying themselves to sleep over the fact that you called them 'a plastic no talent '. It still hurts them.

Please be considerate of the things you say. Because idols are people too.

I think it's going too far when people call them 'goddess' because SNSD, as much as I love them, are not perfect beings and I still support these girls despite their flaws ^^ Everyone has flaws and none of us are perfect humans. I think like Exotic_Broccoli said, maybe leaders could be the correct term for the older groups like SNSD but...'gods' or 'goddesse's'? Even kings/queens of KPop is a little 'meh' with me ^^;

I think fans can call their idols whatever they want, but we shouldn't put them up on this high pedestal you know?

Well, it would be technically correct to call the members of TVXQ "Gods" cause their Chinese/Korean/Japanese group name translated in English is "Rising Gods of the East". XD Jk.

Frankly, the terms "gods and goddesses" and "kings and queens" in the Kpop industry are overused and annoying. SNSD, Super Junior, Big Bang, 2NE1 can be more appropriately termed as the "Leaders" of Kpop and the Hallyu Wave cause they are the main idols that got Kpop known worldwide. They are people just like us. If those members weren't in the music industry, would people still refer to them as "gods"? No. That's the main difference.

Just because they're in a group, people think, "OMG They must be perfect. I <3 you. Marry me." Well, first, they are NOT perfect cause they are people just like you. Do you make mistakes? Yes, so that mean these "gods" can also make mistakes as well. And also, the fact that fans get riled up due to the fact that their idols are dating just completely irks me. They have this delusion that they will marry their oppa but that is simply not the case. If you were being told who you should to date, would you be happy? No. We all want to find happiness in life, and denying idols to their right to happiness is not helping them cause the life of an idol is serious. They go through all these CFs, promotions, and hard work in general for you and you want to deny them the right to be happy for once? That's incredibly selfish and rude.

So, in general, it's just like what you said. Delusional Kpop fans, get a grip, accept reality, and don't hurt your idol's feelings. Don't get butthurt over your ship being broken and etc. Cause they're people just like the rest of us.
