Guys, really.

Not meant to offend anyone and I'll probably sound like a hypocrite, but guys, seriously... Don't post a story if you can't keep up with it, ploxIf you're too busy with your life or your boyfriend broke up with you or someone died, just don't post the story and then expect your subscribers to wait again. Your subs are expecting the latest chapter, not your life story. If you need to talk to someone, take it to the blogs, not your fics.

I've subscribed to countless stories that will probably never be completed because the authors are too 'busy'. If you lost interest in your own story, then just delete it. It'll stop nagging you that way. Remember, it's always quality over quantity. Or do what I do and write all the chapters before you post it online, and then you wouldn't have to write the update the next day.

It's really hard to keep interest in the story if you're not going to update for a really long time or sobbing about something that to be honest, a lot of people wouldn't care about (trust me, I know). Get yourself sorted out first, and then wow your readers with an amazing story. That'd be nice ;v;

This is so accurate that it hurts me internally.
I remember I found a really interesting fic once and then I saw the last update date. I immediately was like, "Nope, bish bye".

And blogs are for your personal stuff, not your fics. Keep that in mind, aff writers.
