he isn't identical with his twin brother. his face is a lot more western than his twin. he's got a pair of basic lobe ear piercing and also another two pairs of additional lobe piercing. for casual wears, he likes wearing his t-shirt with cardigans over it or sometimes denim shirt under his cardigan. he also likes wearing knitwears such as sweater and jumpers. he dyed her hair to light blonde recently. like his brother he prefers wearing specs rather than wearing contact lenses.

Personality:

Quiet as the river, preserved and strong as an oak tree- Unlike his unpredictable and loud twin brother, Darryl is much more stable, quiet, and preserved. he might seem a little awkward to a new surrounding. not because he can't fit in. it is just simply because he didn't know how to start a conversations. he didn't really talk a lot like his twin brother. in contrary of Darren, he doesn't really enjoy living in the showbiz life. unfortunately, he's got the talent which mesmerized the judges since the audition day of Superstar K5. he didn't really enjoy the crowd. in contrary, that's the charm he'd bring to the girls. his cold aura and his strong character would likely to have all the girls swoon.
Melancholy, sentimental and sensitive- he is someone very sensitive in terms of feelings and heart matters. he would have difficulties in terms of moving on from an old love. he is someone who has a really soft heart. if you talked about twin telepathy, he has that strong telepathy bond with Darren, even when Darren was like miles away from him, he would still have that telepathy with him. although he's calm like a river, but when you offended him, his brother or his family, you will find him just temper like the sea. Darryl is easily found crying when he sings to a sad song. he is also very aware if someone close to him feels bad or upset or sad, he'd be comforting them although sometimes he could just sit there and pat their back.

The Misterious Cold City Guy- this is the image assigned to him when camera is on and when he's on the stage. during the variety shows, he wouldn't talk much. on the stage he'd show the cold and mysterious charm to the fans. during reality show, he would remain calm and quiet rather than talking much like the other members. sometimes off the cam and the stage, he'd do the same. it is not strange when the member misunderstood his feelings because of his quietness.

Background :

Mr Kwak opposed the twins from pursuing their dream to be a musician and to work in the entertainment industry. Mrs. Browning on the other hand, thinks the twins would receive a lot of attentions. not because of their different personalities nor their looks. but she sees the materials within the twins. she also knew that Aaron, her eldest son, has the same dream but he is never to pursue his dream just to fulfill his father's desire. so, she decided to let the twins pursuing their dream. not just because both of them has that pretty looks. but the boys also has what it takes to be a passionate entertainer.
If you asked about Aaron, he is studying Machinery at S National University and will be graduating next year. besides that, he also helps his parents to work as a barista. little that his father knows, he was an underground hip-hop rapping artist. he had produced his own mixtapes with some of his friends behind his father's back. and little that his father knows, he also supports his brothers to pursue their dreams. he even covered for the twins when they were at the quarantine centre for Super Star K 5.

How was it?:

It was a great experience. although he found himself and his twin brother facing some hard times due to the tight schedules and all, he still enjoys his time training at the company. sometimes, they had difficulties communicating with the overseas trainees. but what makes everything easier is music and dance. whenever they can't express their feelings through words or sentences, everyone would easily know their worries through the twins' singing or dancing. so far, training in YG has a lot of benefits for both Darren and his twin brother.

He was scouted by YG official after he got eliminated out of Super Star K5's Top 5 together with his brother

- i think it's Darren. because believe it or not, when we are still about to born, he gave me the way first to be born and be the older one.

- i have special taste buds. i can taste wines better than even mum and dad
