Wow with Wow on Top

Read "Lone Wolf and Cub." Just do it. It artfully blends beautiful drawing with masterful storytellings and just plain whoop . Plus, there's a baby involved. A kick-, killer baby.

Basically, an executioner (Ittō) is framed and he is forced to flee with his three-year-old son, Daigoro. He enters his "Pathway of Hell," seeking revenge against the family that wronged him. Along the way, he becomes a sword-for hire, a masterful assassin, and demonstrates the sheer will and courage of a father and savior.

I still haven't finished it (ONE VOLUME IS 272 PAGES AND THOSE PANELS ARE ING SMALLLLL) but it has me entranced completely. The story, the drawing, and the very feeling of awe and respect for the central hero makes this a manga worth reading.

So once again, it's name is "Lone Wolf and Cub" and you should definitely check it out.
