To start off...

SHINee - The First

I approve of their first album. 
very much so. ;)
in fact. 
I might even say that this impressed me more than SNSD's The Boys album,
even though the album tracks in The Boys are really good,
SHINee really impressed me this time.
I was completely unbiased when I heard the album (at first),
& you know I don't really like J-POP to begin with,
so at first I was already pretty turned off. :3
but then...

EPICNESS.

First of all, Onew's voice was really spazz-worthy.
Second, Jonghyun's high notes in a few of the songs were amazing.
Third, Taemin really, really did well. Honestly, the boy has improved and matured.
Fourth, Key. OMG. Key. <3
Fifth, (I'm saving the best for last), MINHO RAPS AWESOMELY IN JAPANESE.
IT MAKES HIS VOICE SO EFFING Y.
(this album's ultimate bias is Choi Minho. I cannot help it.)

A few songs I have to mention. 

A.MI.GO. 

this song was like... made to be Japanese, in my opinion.
at first, I thought it sounded freaking weird, 
and when I heard the 'hottest ice cream ninja',
(that's supposed to be hottest ice queen nanja)
I was like... uhhhh. weird. very weird.
but then.
I caught myself listening to it over and over again.
it's that good.
& it brings back so many memories.
of young SHINee... ^^ 
they've changed so much ;_; but it's a good thing :D

Stranger

was the song focus placed on Key?
because I totally fell in love with his voice.
at every moment I was waiting for Key. 
& he has lots of lines, right? 
or was I just not paying attention.
anyways, the song was really epic.
the beat and the tune is really unique.
reminds me of lucifer. x)
just my opinion of course, I'm weird. 
haha. but this song really wowed me. :D

The SHINee World

they still use Korean lyrics right? for some of it?
like Noona Neomu Yeoppo? (that part was great, btw.)
I've always loved this song, and the remake...
it sounded so natural.
SHINee made it sounds so freaking natural.
like it was originally a Japanese song! O:
seriously. 
AND THIS CRACKED ME UP.
"twinkling is Jonghyun" x) 
but apart from that, the highlight for me was Minho's rap for sure.
I'll never get sick of "My name is MINHO". ;)

MY FAVOURITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM.

from the beginning, Jonghyun's heavenly voice,
& the piano in the background made it so much more beautiful. ;_;
I cried. I cried for this song so bad.
& I found the English translation.
IF someone made a oneshot for me on this,
I think I'll love you forever.
of course, on a pairing I like.

anyway, THIS SONG IS FOR ALL THOSE HATERS THAT THINK MINHO CAN'T SING.
