YG, SM, Woollim and whatever: STOP sending your artists ONLY to the UK - Plead from an European fan -

You, international fans from America, Asia, Oceania and maybe someone from Africa, might have seen already around the internet complains from European fans towards the favouritism of Korean companies of setting their european concerts in the UK.

Because, 90% of you haven't come to Europe or maybe just have a familiar living here, don't know why we complain.

I will define it with two words.

EXPENSIVE.ISOLATED.

Most european fans live within the European Union, and we use the Euro as a coin. In the UK, even though it also belongs to the EU, the coin used is the Pound.

1 pound is the same as 1,20 euros, that means a pound is equal to 1,64 dollars.

Korean entertainment agencies seem to have no reasoning over prices, so it's always the same. In their mind, 80 dollars is the same as 80 euros.

In truth, 80 dollars is around 60 euros.

Just to show you an example:

When BIGBANG came to London, some of the cheapest tickets were around 85 pounds.

85 pounds=102 euros=140 dollars.

140 DOLLARS THE CHEAPEST TICKET.

That, without plane travel, hotel stay. NOTHING.

For not saying, London itself is an expensive city to stay, because of the coin change.

Why do we often ask for Paris instead ?

Because we pay 20~30 euros less for a ticket.

And those 30 euros can feed us for a day.

For not saying, France isn't an island. In case you can't afford a plane, you can always go by train, or bus, or anything.

See ?

I hope you now understand those kind of comments.

#sigh.

I couldn't even attend any concerts in London because tickets were really hard to get a hold of. And also, I don't exactly live in London so my mum would never let me go by myself.
