I've mentioned before that I'd be writing a new Infinite story when my arm gets better. I've been playing around with the idea of the story for a really long time now, and I think that it's as well developed, if not more, than my other current stories. I have a LOT of ideas for it, and I just couldn't wait to be able to share a little bit with you :)

It's going to be a non-rated Myungyeol or Myungjong schoolfic (because I just love the school setting). The main genre will hopefully be sweet romance. I originally wanted it to be a romcom, but after thinking about it, I realized that without drama, it wouldn't be my real writing. So, it's going to be a romantic comedy drama fic.

So far, the official characters in the story are Infinite's L, Sungyeol, Sungjong, Sunggyu, Hoya, Shinee's Jonghyun, and announcer Kim Kyung Ran. All Infinite members will appear in some way, but those mentioned are the characters that I know exactly what to do with. I also sort of know what I wanna do with Jjong, but his character might still change.

About Kim Kyung Ran: if you followed some of my latest Genius-related posts, you probably know that I'm a big fan of Kyung Ran unnie. I needed an adult female character, and in the end, it came to picking between Kyung Ran and actress Kim Heesun (the doctor lady from "Faith"). In the end, Kyung Ran won because her personality fits the character better.

I've created a fictional idol group in there. It's basically an Infinite sub-unit, but I had a hard time thinking of a name for it. In the end, I decided to name them Fedora - if you remember, this was the runner up for Infinite's fanclub name, but lost to the popularity of Inspirit. I don't know, I like the meaning of it - Greek divine gifts. Hmmm.

When you see the basic premise, you'll probably think that it's really cliche. Heck, even I thought that it was really cliche. However, after it developed in my head so much, I realized that even though there are a lot of stories with a somewhat similar storyline, mine is still very unique. Or at least, the development should be very unique and original. The premise will probably sound cliche no matter how I put it lol. But what can I do? It's really difficult to come up with an original premise these days, since everyone seems to be writing something.

And before you start asking, I am not forgetting my other stories. It's just that until my arm heals, it will be very difficult for me to write frequently. I need to type a 5-page essay this weekend for my English class, and another one for the week after that. Even though Rachel is trying to help, I already told her not to worry since she has much more on her plate than I do (sad life of engineering majors; they get just so much homework for every class). I am almost finished with one update, and I should finish it when I get bored of analyzing poetry (like I am now).
