Allen adores being in the spotlight and would fight his way to stay there, easily shown as he gets the most on screen time and that he is the face of the group and because of that, he tends to be very vain and overconfident of his abilities so failure is never going to be in his dictionary. Allen is an active and creative lad whom fun-seeking people would love to be around with as they can count on him to think of creative ideas or activities which can kick boredom away. Allen is naturally chatty, active, loud and would talk a lot whether or not there is cameras rolling. No one can shut that mouth of his and he would be singing every second song over song, he is often the one whom would crack jokes or talks a lot everyday, there isn't a day where he wouldn't be talking or jumping around unless he is really unwell, but he can be a burden for peace-loving, silent members as he doesn't like silence, especially awkward ones. . As he talks a lot, he could start blabbering about the member's dorm lives which may be quite embarassing when the netizens find out. He is really honest, making him really blunt with his comments which may not be a good thing as he may gain anti fans because of it.

Allen have the leadership skills and he may seem to be a klutz as he usually trip over some things especially when he isn't focusing, but he is a caring one as he would always look out for s' safety but could end up tripping on a stone or hitting against a pole. He could do most of the house chores but he thinks that the others have to "learn" so he created a house chore routine for every member to follow, but he is permenantly in charge of cooking. Though he can be quite a lively chatterbox, he is very serious in his work when he noticed it's time to get serious and frequently uses his authority as one of the oldest, to make the younger ones listen to him.

Allen is very adaptable but he changes his interests just as fast when he sees a unique activity especially since he is a rookie idol and idols do go about doing reality and variety shows, for example, Allen would initally want to do mountain hiking until he sees someone doing bungee jumping, he would shift his interest from hiking to bungee jumping. On stage, Allen is still the same but he is more quick-witted and often dodges the hosts' questions about their past relationships or rivalries. He is very daring and would do almost anything which have fun and thrills in it. Allen would often be the first to volunteer whenever there are competitive games and he takes the initiative in doing them. Allen could also be quite narcissitic as he would look at himself in the phone camera and adjusts his hair style before taking a bunch of selcas and posting it on Twitter or consistently checking himself in the mirror before going up on stage. Being playful is one of his special abilities and he enjoys teasing and annoying s. Joking, annoying, pranking, teasing. This lad does it all. His playful side can be often noticed on camera where he would be teasing the other members in the background or someone would be screaming his name. what would happen if his pranks/jokes were backfired?

Background: Born in a multiracial country, Allen can interact with anyone well. He have many good friends in school and he is considered popular there. Coming from a middle income family, he doesn't have financial problems yet still went around searching for part time jobs for extra cash as he needs it to buy his video games and manga. As a young child, he was interested in classical music which was why he took piano and violin lessons but as he grew up, his passion in music slowly fades as he thinks that hanging out with friends is much more interesting. He started to get interested in music again when he is 15 where he went to a karaoke bar with his friends and Shinee's "ring ding dong" caught his attention. He began practicing on his vocals and went for singing lessons so as to improve his singing skills. Whenever there's a singing competition, Allen would the first few to join and won at least the top 5 place, but he is very stiff when it comes to dancing. One day, he told his parents of his dreams as an idol but as typical singaporean, his father opposes it immediately, saying that the chances of being famous is 1%. Determined to proof his father wrong, Allen worked hard to chase his dreams.

How he became an A-Star Trainee: He went for an audition held by the jyp entertainment in his own country and impressed them with his vocal skills. When they contacted him for a second audition, Allen flew over to Korea. However, he didn't pass his audition due to his lack of skills in dancing. With a heavy heart, Allen was unsure how he is going to tell his parents as he knew he would be arguing with his father again when he go back so Allen decided to try out auditions in different agencies during his short stay. Finally, he was able to pass the auditions from Cube entertainment and offically became a trainee before transfering over to A-star a year later.
