I wasn’t able to go to the airport and welcome Block B as they arrive here in the Philippines because I still have a Saturday class. However, there was an invite-only press conference in the afternoon and I was lucky enough to be included in the guest list. How? The event producer, All Access Productions, gave away free passes to selected fans who will be watching the Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert 2.

I was with another BBC, and we arrived a bit too early at the hotel where the press conference will be held. We met other Kpop fans outside. The others are also winners of presscon passes, but there are some who were only trying their luck to get inside. I’m sorry, but I was really pissed off with this girl who kept on asking me questions about the press conference but she was not invited. She was with her friends who just wanted to go inside the hotel and stalk the idols who were there.

Anyway…inside the function room, we were seated at the back part since it was the only place designated for fans. A-JAX came in first and cameras were still allowed during their interview. A-JAX members were so cute and nice. One of them kept on waving and smiling at us, so I made a heart sign for him in return. But when it’s Block B’s turn, the staffs told us that we were not allowed to take pictures anymore, so I just tried my best to keep Block B’s images in my memory. Kyung is really cute! My favorite member is Zico, but all throughout the press conference, I was looking at Kyung! And he also kept on looking in our direction. Minhyuk and Yukwon were really quiet. And also Jaehyo! Taeil was the one who answered almost all of the questions, while the other members just answered once or did not say anything at all. Jihoon… Pyo Jihoon! Another cute one! He kept on playing with Zico’s ears (he was seated beside Zico), and it turns out that Zico was wearing a bee earring. How cute!

Only A-JAX and Block B were present during the press conference, and I felt sorry for the BABYs with us who waited for their BAP.

I heard that Zico got angry when some fans blocked their way outside the function room. ㅠㅠ And I thought, all BBCs are well-mannered.

After the press conference, my BBC friend and I stayed at the hotel lobby with other BBCs. We helped in preparing the gifts for Block B. Then suddenly, a Korean guy near us asked if we are fans of Block B. Of course, we said yes. He also asked each one of us who our favorite member is, and kept on saying “Zico? Zico?” When he looked at me, I told him that I like Zico…and B-bomb. At first, he couldn’t understand the name I said after Zico so I tried saying B-bomb’s real name, Minhyuk. Then he was like, “Ah! Minhyukkie!” He also showed us Block B’s Nanlina performance in Japan from his own phone, and he sang “Nanlinanlinanlina~ Nanlinanlinanlina…” We asked him if he is the manager or producer of Block B, then the other guys with him said something like ‘captain’ or ‘general’ or whatever until one of us mentioned ‘CEO.’ The Korean guy gestured with his hands that his position is higher than the CEO, so the owner maybe? But Kyung’s tweet confirmed the confusion! Haha!

It was really hard talking to Koreans because of the language barrier OTL I know a bit of Korean sice I took Korean language classes, but I'm not confident enough to talk with Korean peopleㅠㅠ

So many feels for this day. It was an emotional roller coaster ride. I don’t know where to start.

Okay…

There were problems before the fan party but I don’t want to discuss those here. I was on the verge of crying that time and I don’t want to remember it anymore. Let’s just go to the good part, yes?

A-Prince was the first one to have their fanmeet at KPub. It was a Korean restaurant which became the venue for the fanmeet. They are so cute, but I was so shy to cheer for them since I was wearing a Block B shirt and a Block B snapback. I tried taking photos of them using my phone, which is the only camera with me that time, so I would know the quality of photos when it's Block B’s turn. I took nice photos of A-Prince so it was a relief that I will surely have good ones of Block B later. I was also grateful when they announced that it’s okay to use cameras, because we were told before that we are not allowed to take pictures.

Block B songs started playing, and we were reminded to behave so Block B’s management won’t be disappointed with us. Soon enough, Block B entered the fanparty venue, with Minhyuk appearing first. I was seated in the front row near where Minhyuk entered and swear!!! My mind went blank when I saw him! He’s my second favorite member next to Zico, and we were just about two feet away from each other! He’s so handsome, and damn… his dimple!!! I just stared at him and didn’t know what to do. The other BBCs are already screaming and cheering for Block B or calling their bias’ names, but I just stared at the seven handsome guys standing in front of me. I can’t believe that they are that good-looking!  When I came back to my senses, I started taking pictures of them but my hands were shaking all the time that everything became blurred. I didn’t have any good photo of Block B. *cries* *flips the whole Earth*

A cake was given to Block B together with the gifts, and it was planned that we shouldn’t show any sign that we also prepared another cake specially made for Jihoon. He looked a bit down. We believed that he was expecting a cake for him because it was his birthday, and was disappointed because only a cake for Block B was there. A few minutes later, the lights went off and we took out the pink birthday banners. We started singing ‘Happy Birthday’ in Korean and gave his birthday cake. He was so happy! Then, KPub played their default birthday greeting on the wide screen.

Block B songs played and Zico started goofing around. He’s still as hyper as ever. Taeil also sang a bit of his part, and all I can say is…he really has a good singing voice! When it was Tell Them, Zico started dancing and the others followed. They are such cuties!

Then there was also a ZiPyo/2Ji moment. When Jihoon was talking, Zico approached him and put his hand inside Jihoon’s coat! He hugged the maknae’s waist and it was so cute! I know I’m a huge ZiKyung shipper but ZiPyo was really adorable that time. <3

After they bid goodbye to the fans, Zico came down the stage. I widened my eyes as my mind went blank again for the second time that day because he was so close to me! Add that the fact that he is my bias! My mind was not able to process what was happening that time and I only realized that fans were trying to touch Block B as they leave when bouncers appeared in front of me. Then, Jihoon took a gift from a fan beside me which made our hands touch as well! ASDFGHJKL Because of that, Jihoon became my bias for an hour or so, but Zico won me back during the concert.

We ran as quickly as possible outside the fanparty venue because the concert will be starting in an hour, the concert venue is a bit far from there. While trying to look for a cab, we saw a white van parked nearby and we believed it was Block B’s van. Someone told me to take a picture so I did. I’m really sorry if people thought we are sasaengs. ㅠㅠ

Fortunately, we arrived at Smart Araneta Coliseum before the concert started. Our seats are really good! We were right in front of the stage. The Dream Kpop Filipino Champion finalists were the opening act for the concert. BTOB performed first, followed by A-JAX. KARA’s Han Seungyeon also made an appearance, as one of the A-JAX members gave her a bouquet of flowers. However, I feel sorry for her for flying all the way to the Philippines just to appear for a few minutes.

Block B was the one next in line. They started with Very Good, followed by Be The Light, Nanlina, and Nice Day. Those who are not fans of Block B were like “Why is it that song again?” when Very Good played again after the Nice Day performance. But they soon realized that it’s a different version. It’s the rock version! Yes, the one they performed in Gayo Daejeon! I didn’t know I would be able to see it live. Daebak!!! Yukwon also took off his coat/jacket during the stage performance, because it’s too hot for him in the Philippines. LOL He’s hotter though. ㅋㅋㅋ And, Zico was really cute! I loved him even more when I saw him during Nice Day. Ultimate bias, it is! He made sure that I’m still a Zicova even if Kyung caught my attention the day before and Jihoon stole me from him earlier.

A-Prince came after and they even sang a Tagalog song (Nasayo Na Ang Lahat) and danced Otso-Otso. It was really cute and funny! Then there goes BAP. Their fans are jjang! The screams, the fanchants…everything! The last one was Super Junior-M. If BABYs are jjang, then ELFs are more than jjang! Really! I was amazed with their blue ocean. And their fanchants…daebak!

Though in the end, almost all the concert-goers waited for a final performance or anything like “The concert’s over.” However, there was none. Some didn’t even want to leave the coliseum. We really wanted more!

Then again, my heart was really happy when I heard people telling that they really enjoyed Block B’s performance even if they are not fans. And it seems like Yukwon is so popular among Filipinos! Trust me! Almost everyone was smitten by Kitty’s charm, non-BBCs (who will be future BBCs, I can feel it!) included. <3
