So I'm debating about something right now. I'm writing the character backgrounds for "In Lumine Lunari" and "Sanguinus Aeterna"/"Vita Aeterna", and well let's just say that some of the characters have very dark secrets and bad things that happened in their past that the other characters don't know about them. 

I'm wondering, is it better to share the characters' secrets with the readers or not? I want to have some mystery to the story, so people will want to keep reading to find out why a character is acting in a certain strange way. But also I think, maybe people would get confused about why the character is acting like that if they don't know their past. And then they might stop reading and I would cry. TT_TT

Also I think I'll give you a hint about one of the characters. Like a teaser haha. Sungmin acts in a strange way and hurts people around him because he has a terrible (and rather dark and disturbing) past that Kyuhyun won't find out about until quite a few chapters into the story. And I hope that makes you want to read these stories haha.
