Personality: While she might be beautiful on the outside, inside she is almost an entirely rotten person. She is still able to give you a smile and fool you that her intentions and thoughts are good, but she might even be carrying a knife in her pocket, saved for your next meeting. She is not only argumentative but also good at it. She is most likely chic and refined and know how to make a dramatic entrance to make sure everyone else knows it. She exhibits a great enthusiasm when bragging about herself as she does when criticizing others. As the she struts around and in being the center of attention, so does she believes she deserves the spotlight. In turn she directs the spotlight on others, but it isn’t particularly welcome many times. Background: Yuri was born in a small Busan town in the Republic of Korea, and as a small child, people saw her as the typical cute, innocent child who always did was she was told and loved everybody and everything. Growing up in a family-oriented environment, she was taught about morals at a young age, how to behave in society, always say “please” and “thank you”, but when the family moved for the big city off Seoul, everything she had learned was brushed off with a sponge. She learned everything about the big city culture and that was when she realized she was enjoying it. When her family found out about what she was doing, they quickly searched for a school to put her in, a school with a good reputation and strict rules, supposed to be her rehab, and so they found Lila Art School, this is because Yuri does like K-pop, she listens to it very often, so yeah, maybe music might divert her attention and build her dicipline. Now in the school, her goals were to just do whatever she wants and became popular among the students as the loud, crazy girl who just wants to have fun, but obviously being liked just because of her fortune and looks. Yuri began registering for audition in various company. There, she met a representative of Bighit. He was fond over her youthful look at the first met and with that he kinda helped her registration/ audition and became a trainee in less than two months. Yuri was grouped together with the other trainees, filling the vacancy.

Stage Name: Yurim :: to avoid confusion with SNSD's Yuri, she picked the stage name Yurim. She revealed that Yurim was the name her mother wanted to give her, but her father named her Yuri instead.
