Do you guys have this food in your country?

Milanesas, or, according to Google Translate (I know, what a trust-worthy source), and a verification by Google Images, milanese in English.

It's a very well-known food where I live, and gahd, it tastes like heaven, one of my favorite foods out there.

It's basically meat (it can be red meat, or chicken, or you know whatever, there are also vegetarian versions as well but that's not the point), that's dipped into beaten eggs (raw of course) and then, dipped into bread crumbs, you fry it or, if you prefer a healthier option, you can cook them in the oven.

That's the regular "milanesa". But, if on top of the cooked milanesa, you put tomato sauce, ham, and cheese, it becomes "milanesa a la napolitana", which is exquisite as well.

You can eat this with some french fries, mashed potatoes, or any salad of your choice! Or even between two breads, like regular meat I guess haha! And my recomendation, is to squeeze some lemon on top of a regular milanesa (don't do it with the napolitana, that's gross), and you can eat it with some mayonese, or ketchup, anything that you like!

So tell me guys, have you tried this? Do they eat this in your country? I'm eager to know!

Yup and pretty often although now they took it off the schools' cafeteria-list since it is 'unhealthy' or something (kids can get it a few times a month but not too often. Used to be the best thing on the school kitchen's xD
My mom usually puts some garlic on the meat before(or in the eggs, I'm not sure) so it tastes a bit different but it's yummy however you eat it XD The best thing ever for me is if the cauliflower or mushrooms are prepared like this xD
(I eat a lot of meat but I LOVE vegetables xD)

There's a similar thing in Portugal called Francesinha. I've never tasted it, though.
