It's properly blended (: good work for beginner. But it's too plain, maybe you should give some texture or maybe stocks to fill the empty spots and the background color doesn't really match the character's tone, maybe soft brown would be good ^^ for the title, it would be better if it's placed in the middle and maybe some more suitable fonts to use (:
