The reason why I think I have the best sister in the world.

You may know her. You may not. Some people call her Jessie. Most people call her Jess. I call her Ate/Manang. When I need/want something, I add "ganda" to the title. When I'm mad, I call her "ratchet." We call each other sisters.

Of course, I'm talking about madameunhye.

Being the middle child, I'm also an "ate/manang" or for those who cannot understand Tagalog, an eonnie. However, I cannot be as awesomely-amazingly-fergiliciously-ohmygoshly-dope like my older sister, Jess. My eonnie is a badass. I never encounter someone as hardcore in badass-ery as her. She teases me, our youngest brother, her friends, our mom, and everyone else in the neighborhood relentlessly. But when someone she loves is being insulted or being step on by other people, she is not afraid to slap faces or kick asses. I remember her, turning one of my bullies as one of the people who kisses my now in elementary. But what I like about my sister the most about her badass personality is that, she won't hurt you for no reason. She only reciprocates whatever people show her.

My sister doesn't take crap from anyone. Ever. She doesn't care if she looks "unladylike" when she pigs out on her food in public. She doesn't care if people go away from her when she suddenly raises her voice. She doesn't care if she looks untidy. She just doesn't care at all. But the thing about Jess is no matter how much she doesn't give a crap about what other people think of her, she does care a lot about the people important to her. When my sister was still living with us, she won't let me go to school without looking at least half as pretty as her. Yes, no matter how much she denies it, my sister turns heads when she walks. She is very flamboyant and confident about her looks. She might not be "celebrity" kinda pretty, she is pretty yes, but it is the way she carries herself and how confident she is that causes people to check her out. I wish I can be more like my sister who knows how to handle people who tries giving her crap. Because I swear, if you tell something bad to her, she is not going to stop unless you stop first or you beg for mercy.

My sister is very passionate. Jess loves writing so much. When she's at home, she's always on her laptop writing. I read some of her stories and they are all very amazing. I don't get why she only decided to start posting her stories last summer, though judging that she was a yearbook editor for two years in a row during high school. My ate's admiration for Yoon Eun Hye, EXO, and Horikita Maki can't also be toppled. I won't even start in this one. With her family and friends, Jess treasures these the most.

My sister shares her happiness with the people who cares and are important to her. My sister and I bicker a lot but when she has food, she'll still give some to me. Even though she is tired, she will still cook food for everyone. When she buys something, she makes sure our brother and I also has the same stuff as her. When my mom asks for help, she doesn't hesitate to comply. When she's happy, she will tell the closest person next to her. When she succeeds, she makes sure everyone she cares for gets a piece of her success. My sister may be a badass, but her true love lies on helping other people and making the world a better place. I love that about her.

Ate Jess/Jess eonnie is the best sister I could ever have. For what she's worth, I wouldn't trade her with anything else in this world. This is exactly the same thing she says to people and things that are dearest to her heart. There are times that we hate each other but at the end of the day, she's the only sister I have and I should be nicer to her. There's a lot of moments I want to yell at her but she always manages to take away my anger in just mere hours. My sister is not perfect. Hell not even close to that. But my sister is very awesomely-amazingly-fergiliciously-ohmygoshly-dope and I wish to be more like her.

Despite all these, there's one thing that really pisses me off about my sister, though. When you text her, she either takes a week to reply or she wouldn't even reply at all which is ironic because her phone is always on her pocket... o.O
