this site is just WAY too exo biased... [yes this is me venting my exo fustrations... if it will offend you don't read it!]

you know... lately I am just tired of exo being shoved down my throat.... first sm shoved exo down everyones throat for months on end and that started my dislike... then everyone reblogged them on tumblr and for months and months now all this site is... is exo this and exo that.... its so sickening!!! I mean UGHHH! its so fustrating they are so overrated and their songs FOR THE MOST PART !!! Don't get me wrong I like a couple... but WOLF? wtf was that..... I feel bad because I have nothing against the members but i hate them as a group because they are just EVERYWHERE!! what makes them so special from every other rookie group out there?.. specially when other rookie groups are releasing much better songs then them!!! I know the crappy songs is sm's fault its unfortunate because they have KILLER voices and if they were given the right songs then they would be worth all the hype but right now... they just aren't...

I am just TIRED OF EXO!!!

this site and... well kpop in general is not the same for me now... It used to be fun and the fandoms used to get along so much better but since exo came around its not the same... you can go on VIXX videos and see exo fans going on about how exo is so much better.... when shinee was having their comeback with dream girl exo fans were saying how SHINee didn't deserve it and sm should be giving exo a comeback instead. They spammed SHINee's music video pointing out 'signs' that SHINee's music video had hints of exo's comeback... it's like no... guys everything is not about exo!! SHINee's music video was not made to SECRETLY promote exo!!!

It's things like that... that make me unable to stand the group... It would be nice if the exo fans could calm down take a step back and see what they are doing. They wonder why a lot of people don't like them... well... I am telling you my PERSONAL reason. If you like exo then go listen to exo... comment on exo videos read exo stories whatever! but don't make everything about them.

That being said... this website... I am considering leaving... I have been on this site for YEARS!! and it used to be a fair site and now its just an exo site... every story on the main page is exo related except the random story... there has to be THOUSANDS of stories on this site... and yet all I ever see on the main page is exo... so many of my friends have left because of this... and I might be next.... it's not the same site anymore... I have been writing a story.. my first one in years... but I don't think I want to post it on this site... it's not exo related... it doesnt belong here... thats what it feels like with this site...

I know I am going to get hate for this post but I don't give a .... senseless nasty comments will be deleted ^^ so don't waste your time writing them.. if you want to state your opinion thats fine... it's ok to disagree with me and state your opinion as well I don't mind XD

They're the hype these days and we cannot do anything about it when most of the active users are fans. I had my share of encounters with them - got a major headache and I don't think I want to deal with them in the near future. I never blamed EXO for the actions of their fans or the plans of their company. And I found out that not all exo fans and writers are immature like the ones you mentioned, although few, and not all exo fanfics get attention. My vixx oneshot got more comments than an update in my long fic, lol. Because it also depends on the plot and the pairing: exo couple in a drama plot or exo x you in a love triangle arc or a reverse harem. Needless to say, it's hard to find an exo fic I like as well. So what I do, is I use the exclude tag search because finding non-exo fanfics is easier that way and since they aren't that many, it's relatively easier to find one that I'd read. Then I let the author know how much I liked it so that she has reason to continue writing. As a writer myself, I'd rather have one reader who enjoys being inside the universe my story and is willing to tell me that - what worked for him/her and what didn't. I do understand that we would also like our story to have an equal chance of getting noticed since that's what publishing it online is about. Otherwise, I'd just keep my stories in my folder.

But there is a way for non-exo fics to get noticed. Upvotes, subscribers and comments. Support from non-exo fans should be there. No matter how small your fandom is, if each one showed support, I think you'd be able to create a place here, in spite of exo being everywhere.

Continued: And even if your fics aren't popular on here, I think you should still write them and not give up :) My fics don't get a whole lot of attention sometimes but I'm okay with that because I love writing and sharing my creativity ^^ Easier said then done I guess, but you know what I mean? I know comments, subscribers and views are nice but you shouldn't let the lack of them stop you from posting on here. It just takes awhile is all sometimes I guess. Not very good at being supportive here XD But good luck and like I said just keep writing :3

I'm an EXo fan but I don't see myself 'shoving it down others throats'. I'm generally pretty quiet about my fangirling actually for all my groups ^^; I can understand your frustrations and all, but it's also not Exo's fault they're becoming so well known. If you're tired of seeing Exo fics in your searches, you can use the exclude tag that the admins came up with :) Coming from a fan I sometimes get annoyed to seeing them everywhere on here so I just use that when I'm searching for fics ^^ I apologize if I come across rude or harsh by the way...

You're right. I'm right. We're all annoyed as and have to right to express our feelings too, even if it won't change things. (However, me and a group of friends out here are trying to create a project (check my blog posts for info) to make a tiny change at least. I started my V.I.P club already, and I feel so much at ease now. and even though I don't get as much subbies as I got for the exo fictions I have, it still warms my heart to have my family (V.I.P) around me, since they all have disappeared bit by bit since the exo flood tragedy :( .. miss them so much.)

But anyway, more to the point, ignore the hate you'll get, even if they tell you to leave the site like they told me. Well, it's not anybodies ing territory and I like it here too :)

I used to come here way before I created this account, and I remember those days when SHINee, Suju and Infinite stories got featured and advertised... then I created my account and suddenly, everything was exo... you're absolutely right; I kind of like exo's music, but I'm not hyper about them. I am not afraid to bash even my biases, and sometimes, I really get frustrated because some people out there (who all sadly happen to be exostans) are very, very immature... my only real-life friend here on AFF wrote a really good and popular infinite fic, but she deleted all her stuff and deactivated her account after some stupid people started commenting on her stories "you should write about exo, they are so much better." Yeah, I have nothing against exo or exo fans, but some of them are really too much. Not that fans of other groups aren't, but I've only heard and seen bad things from exo fans, so I'm also quite biased against them...

You can thank their immature fans for that. I am an EXO fan, but I don't try to shove it down anybody's throat. They are just as good as Big Bang, SHINee, BEAST, and Super Junior; but some of their fans are going over board by putting down groups and singers that either work just as hard or harder than EXO ever will. My point being that even though I'm a fan I too am getting tired of hearing about them.
