Announcements and Updates

Notice those black boxes that pop-up on the right-side of your screen? Those are push notifications/push messages/instant messages and they appear without us having to refresh the page. (example). In order to read the full message, click the words in blue (ex. 'go to wall'). To get rid of it, hover your cursor above it and an 'x' will appear. Click.

(But I think it's pretty obvious what it does. Don't be afraid of it, y'know. Just click it. If it can be clicked, then you'd know what it is for; if not, then life goes on.)

For me, what this does... is it eliminates the element of surprise and gives me a heads up on what the notif is about - which I like especially with wallposts, comments, replies and pms. It gives me time to compose my reply in my head. Also, you'd know right away which story other users subscribed to.

Perhaps in the future, we can have the option of not receiving push notifs. (I disabled my subscriber notif and being informed of something I don't want to know via push messages makes my disabling kinda useless. HAHA. But it's okay.)

Tip: If you a notice a word underlined in blue, hover above it and you'd be amazed.

Updates: Guide for newbies.

Other site features: I just saw the new section in Rated M. (I think authors are complaining that their stories which have a trigger warning are automatically unlisted but we know the reason for that, right?) So there is a section now dedicated for them: stories > rated m > trigger warning.

Others: Don't be surprised if you can't find some of my new posts. I delete them after a day - esp those related to tumblr and my ship- since deleting the old ones is taking longer than I thought.

Warning: If you see a person going emotional or teary-eyed in any of my posts, remember that I did not bully said person.

Oh, I absolutely love it (Y)

I got a notification for a new subscriber—clicked "go to subscribers" and nothing changed on my unique subscribers OR any of my thread subscribers. Just shows the person subscribed then unsubscribed, either by accident or the person didn't like what they were seeing.

So amusing :')
