I like writing author's notes at the end of each chapter. It's a way of saying thanks to the readers. But lately I try to stop myself from writing author's notes. Sometimes I just end up blabbing or talking about nonsensical stuff. And I figure, what if my readers are bored? Or think I'm cray-cray? Hahaha, 'cause sometimes I really do end up blabbing in author's notes. So there. I try my best not to write one unless needed. :D
