K-Pop Idols of Different Races

So I found out that SM Entertainment is holding their 2014 Global Audition. It's really awesome because this is someone's lucky chance to be signed and trained for their dreams. Now here's the thing, many people want to audition, especially non-asians. As K-Pop has grown from the very beginning, we've seen idols come who aren't Korean necessarily; they're either Chinese, Taiwanese, or from Thailand. But I wonder, could fans accept a K-Pop idol who is not asian?

I ask this because I see comments about this subject and people either support it but are highly against it. Let me tell you this, I went to the YG Global Audition 2012 and I plan to this year go for the SM Audition in L.A. I've seen many different races trying out, so I never felt out of place. Also think about this, Brad Moore from Busker Busker is obviously White, he's not Asian. So I think, if a K-Pop group had a talented member who was still NOT asian, could he/she be supported? For me, I'm taking my chances and constantly auditioning because I just see that even if my chances are at like 1%, that's all I need to keep going after my dreams.
