but honestly i'm kind of relieved. i'm disgusted at the fics written about him and i don't think he'll be ready to handle the burden of being an idol. my brother is the same age as him and he's out playing soccer and having nerf gun fights with his friends! trust me, i live with a kid the same age as samuel and i know all of his friends, he's much too young to be an idol. he's too immature, and too young, and it wouldn't be fair to destroy his childhood like that.

if he wants to be an idol so badly i totally respect that, but he needs time. he's too young. he should live his childhood, go to school, get an education first. then i totally support his career choice. i jsut think it's completely wrong for someone so young to be casted as an idol.

Samuel has said that he is dead set on becoming an idol. Even with how young he is, but with his mother keeps fighting him. Its kinda stupid. If he didnt want to debut, he would stop fighting. But he's still fighting so I think he's really serious about wanting to be an idol.

Then again SEVENTEEN HASNT EVEN DEBUTED YET. I think people keep forgetting that. They just post videos of them dancing and stuff. They havent even sang or performed as seventeen on a stage. So practically, Samuel's not an idol yet. He's still considered a trainee so I do not know what all the fighting is about. :I

I think it's still just a rumor. He's back at the states but it's not confirmed if he's really leaving. Apparently he and his mother had an argument but came to a compromise? Idk, but I really doubt he's going to just leave
