Ramblings of a Kpop Fan

They will never understand Me,..

It's not that I want to marry a Korean... These Kpop idols are just different...
It's just the feeling that goes along with it.. something that words can not explain. It's simply something  that you feel.. it's more than the feeling of having butterflies in your stomache.. it's something more than that..

it's like whenever you see them, you hear them, you just can't help but smile. I guess you can call it admiration to the extremes. Extremes in a sense that you'd download every single music video and wait for every subbed video of their shows just to see them. Or I guess just finding yourself doing things that you did not imagine doing a year before. Suddenly you're just there at the airport waiting for your idol's arrival, just to see a glimpse or just to see that they safely arrived, lining up for a long time under the sun just to get  a ticket or attend a convention. you won't notice these obstacles just for your favorite Oppas.

Language was never a problem.. it was NEVER a problem.  suddenly you just found yourself mumbling and following their songs even if your tongue twists as you try to imitate the lyrics just by listening to their songs. learning your Oppa's/Unnie's voices by heart, perking your ears whenever  you hear the name of your bias,, wherever and I say WHEREEVER you are as long as someone is talking about your fandom or your bias you just can't help but listen.

imitating simple Korean words just to have a connection with them.. words such as "Saranghae", or just a simple greeting such as "Annyeong".. then suddenly you just find yourself singing Happy Birthday in Korean. Funny but it's true.

reading every fanfic, looking at every picture and tweet of your bias. that even if you don't understand their tweets, you will still get excited with the fact that they updated.

Associating kpop songs with everyday conversations, when someone says "why so serious", you suddenly smile and think of SHINee's song, or when someone says "What's your name", you daze for a while because a Kpop song is suddenly playing in your mind before answering the person who asked you. I guess they just have that affect.. They will never understand me.. only my fellow Kpoppers will.

making videos, collaborating with the people from other countries just to greet Oppa/Unnie on his/her birthday..

creating bonds and friendship because of Kpop. they will never understand me, you, and us. if they won't be open-minded.

That just about sums up how I feel every single day. Every time I listen to kpop people are always like why do you even listen to something you don't understand. And I just sigh and think it's you who will never understand why if you don't give the music a chance
