God, what's got people's knickers in a twist here? Not every song needs to have deep meaning. Don't be pretentious and a hypocrite by saying you only listen to songs with deep lyrics because if that's the case you don't understand what music really is

Srsly, do those people even realize how stupid they sound? It makes me wonder what they even listen to music for.
I like if a song has a interesting meaning, it's a nice wow-effect, but I don't literally look after songs with deep lyrics.
I look after what makes me addicted/feel good/have fun to listen to and the best example is K-Pop. I understand first, but I'm like OMG THIS SONG IS AWESOME. AJSFKSHJJK.
When I listened to SHINee's Lucifer I didn't know the lyrics for like, 2 weeks. And after I bothered to read the translation I was like OMG THE LYRICS ARE FREAKIN AMAZIGN, IT'S OMG---I LOVE IT EVEN MORE (if that was possible lol xD) <3 <3
The only thing which...well, 'dislike' is a strong word...irritate me? When lyrics make NO sense at all, may they be deep or not, I don't care. It's irritating. xD
 

Then there's autotune. So WHAT if it's autotuned, ffs.
It's for the sake of making stuff sound better or to your liking. It has a cool effect and some songs wouldn't sound their way if there wasn't the autotune (example: Bonamana).

The only thing I don't approve of, is when a concert is playback/autotuned. Because I didn't pay for playback to be played but to actually hear live singing. (but I usually check that beforehand, btw, Panic! At The Disco is SUPERB live (that's not my record tho, but I was at exactly this one (stood in the middle) :D) they're polite, funny, nice AND ON TIME (and the tickets are affordable, I payed 27€), you'll have the time of your life, we were like 250-300 people (it was a small concert, but that was even better) and it wasn't a concert but a freakin party xD I've recorded a lot, if you want me to, I can upload a little :) <3))
And believe it or not (and I hate to admit it) Rihanna was good too (I was at the concert from her Rated R Tour a few years ago (not a fan but her album was pretty good), but it was my first and last concert by her cause let me and 4000 other ppl wait for 2 frikkin hours and didn't even apologize and I know (cause I talked to them while we waited for entry) there were people who waited for her like about 10 hours to get good view (I was just lucky with my spot, I didn't come very early, I was like 'nope, the most I'll come earlier is max 2 hours')

You work to earn money, right? Of course it's great if you can do what you love for a living, but it doesn't always work out and you may have to do an other job than planned. But does someone judge you for that?
No, of course no one judges you for that, but beware if you're a musician/artist/whatever and do your job with the intention to earn for your living.
