Slightly inspired by my friend, kp_bmw, I've decided to write a little bit about me, and attempt to include a beautiful picture (though I at modeling). 

So, hi guys! My name's Micaela, or Mickey, like Mickey Mouse. Whichever works. 

There's me and my absolute best friend, "Squishy" or better known as Leo (named before I heard of VIXX). It's sort of an old picture, because about the same time kp_bmw dyed her hair blue, I dyed mine burgundy. So it's purple-ish now. And yes, I'm friends with her outside of aff, though we met through this site. Also, I don't usually look that crazed... I had a little too much caffeine that day, as with almost everyday. I swear, I live off of the stuff. And I typically wear a lot more makeup, in rather bright colors, like purple, red, blue, green, etc. 

I'm almost legal to be writing the things I have been writing (less than a week, baby!) but I sort of thought of those age restrictions as recommendations anyways. Despite that, I'm already in my second year of college, with a major in psychology and a focus on clinical or criminal psychology, which is lovely stuff by the way. My parents are loving it (sarcasm) and my nickname for a while was "brain-squeezer." Though they gave up on that after I took an anthropology class and came home all excited about skulls and bones. Now that I'm taking a class just about human bones, they don't know what to do with me. I'll admit my slightly morbid fascination with the stuff.... Yeah, I was the girl taking pictures of all the skulls during our bone lab day.... I still have them, if anyone's interested :D

I've been writing since I was a kid with short stories about finding cats, and then later to kick- princesses, or particularly elves, and finally with characters who I would say are simply human. At first it was a way to get attention, I guess, and I can remember sitting in front of my second grade class reading a story that I scrawled out during recess. Then my desire morphed to something out of jealousy, as another girl I know (who I absolutely adore) became the subject of attention from my biggest crush, and she could write so beautifully that I wanted to be just as good as her. Or better. When that was over, I didn't really take writing seriously, and even after hearing so many people say I should become a writer, I brushed the notion away.

Things changed when I had depression, and writing stories stopped being something to do for fun, or attention, but instead became a lifeline. If you've read any of my stories, you should know that a lot of them deal with pain, and sadness, and a loss of something, because as for me, that was what I was experiencing every day. I never wrote for anyone else, but myself. Still don't in a sense. I love my readers to death, honestly, you guys are amazing, but I'm going to be honest when saying I don't think of what you'll like to read when I write. Maybe I would get more readers if I did that, but I'm not looking for quantity. I mean, I would rather have only one person read all my writing, and understand it, and feel it, rather than a thousand people who will read and move on. I hate to go all psychological on you, but it's like pleasure vs. enjoyment. I want people to enjoy my stories, not just get temporary pleasure from them. Anyways, I've gotten off topic.

So I guess after that serious stuff, I'll list off some random fun facts! 

1. My favorite word is amygdala, which is a part of your brain
2 Favorite food: Cheesecake. I can't get enough of the stuff, and even if I can't take another bite of anything else, I'll somehow find room for cheesecake. Believe me, I did so everyday on my trip to Vegas. 
3. Favorite animal? CATS. I will be that Crazy Cat Lady someday! Maybe. And turtles, pandas, and frogs. They're so adorable!!!
4. I collect books. And stray animals. My dad seems to always find animals on his way home, so I take care of them. We had a pigeon and a duck once, and it's also how I got Leo. 
5. I have a lizard called "Half-tail," which my cat catches every summer, and because of his characteristic tail, I dubbed him Half-tail. 
6. I'm ambidextrous, though writing with my left hand takes a little longer, so I don't use it too often.
7. If anyone knows the MBTI, I'm an ISFP.
8. Math used to be my best subject, until I went to college where it became my worst. Now my best subject is science, which was my worst subject before. 
9. Most of my story ideas come to me in the most random places, and most often while I'm in the shower.
10. I'm the clumsiest person you will ever know. I can't seem to go a day without tripping or running into something or dropping something. My friend actually got me a good luck voodoo doll thing that's supposed to keep me from being a total clutz. It's not really working. I've sprained almost every single joint in my body. Thankfully, I was born with the characteristic "Swede head" as my family has labeled it, and so despite all the tumbles, I've never gotten a concussion.
11. I'm kind of flirty, and I have a rather dirty mind. Me and my friend once spent a half hour trading innuendos and euphemisms and endearments, and if someone else just read them, they would imagine some steamy,  and very ual situation. Afterwards we were just like "What the hell just happened?" And then thought nothing more of it. 
12. I love to wear a lot of makeup, not because I think I look horrendous, but because it's fun. I like playing with all the colors, which kind of ticks off my rather traditional family. Then again, a lot of things I do bug them.
13. My favorite number is 13, and it's huge in my family, as me, my sister, and my cousin were all born on the 13th of a month. My parents' birthdays added together equals 13 and M is the 13th letter in the alphabet. (Suju also had 13 members after they added Kyuhyun :D)
14. kp_bmw has been teaching me some bad habits, as I never used to swear until I met her. Bad girl, but I still love her :D
15. Cnblue is my all time favorite band, next to Red, and I have all the songs from both.
