Background : Sarah's mother was always busy. Since her debut, people had talking about her and her powerful voice that was different from other singers. Even though they didn't meet much, Sarah often listened to her mother's songs and fell asleeps to her ballad. And then, tragedy struck.
Her mother had a heart disease. There was only a thin chance of living. When she was in the hospital, she requested to meet her daughter. Now, Sarah had no idea that her mother had this. As she her hair and gripped her hand, her mother sang the last song that she would ever sing to someone. And at the last word, Sarah saw her mother's eyes close and felt the warmth of her hand getting colder. That was the first and last time she would ever see her mother again.
A few years after that, Sarah's father re-married. This time to a man. They were in a secret marriage and in public, they were just friends. Sarah didn't know why kids would pick on her when her mother didn't come for Mother's Day. She didn't know why her fathers came for Father's Day and everyone . And on Parent's Day, she was stuck with her first nickname. 'Momless'.
Sarah decided that it was time to break through her shell. She found passion in music and singing and often listened to Japanese rock, her first love being Gackt. She then auditioned for SM with her brother's help.
