I am sure you all have heard about the passing of Leeteuk's father and grandparents. You guise, I'm only a casual ELF, but I can't begin to imagine the pain his family is going through. To have almost half of your family disappear in one moment, can you even comprehend that pain? Regardless of his superstar status and celebrity lifestyle, this is a human and this was his family and I am certain he must be devastated. I remember seeing this YouTube video were he talked about his family and it seemed like a lot of his success was due to his desire to prove himself to his father. Even though they may not have had the best of relationships while he was coming up because of the harsh physical discipline Leeteuk received, I don't think his mourning is any less pronuonced. As any of us with dysfunctional families know, no matter what they have done to you, there is still love there, buried under the hurt and pain. In fact, it is that love that makes the pain so much harder to deal with.  I don't know about much about Leeteuk, but from what I have seen, he comes across as a very empathetic person, meaning he really has a heart for the people around him and is concerned with their needs and well-being. As a person that tries so hard to be the sympathetic shoulder for others, I hope that his kindness will be returned ten-fold. Love you guys!
