Imagination is powerful

Yesterday a friend of mine read the introduction of the story I'm writing: Diary Entries Of Lulu

He texted me shortly after reading it and said:

Are you in love? Is that why you're able to write so vividly from Luhan's perspective? It's seems as though you're talking with experience.

I had to smile at his text, because no, I'm not in love nor have I ever been so. It just made me think whoa imagination is freakin' powerful isn't it?

I mean, you don't have to have the experience first hand to portray the raw feelings of the people who are going through the problems and obstacles in your story. I've definitely read a lot of fanfics where I've been in awe at how awesome writers can get across the feelings of the characters. It's quite mind-blowing to be able to enthrall a reader to the verge of  laughter or tears because they're absorbed and absolutely captivated.

I hope I will be able to write a gripping story as Diary Entries Of Lulu progresses :3
