How to train a Cat?

How can I train my cat to poop in his own cat litter box and not into the pot of flowers? He has been doing it for many times and my grandmother who love flowers always blamed my mother and blah blah this blah blah that. Now that my mom complained it to my father, he starts to say that he's gonna throw my cat away. No way! I don't ever want that to happen again. God, how can I make him to only poop inside the litter box?? I'm so ed up about all this babbling and whining and complaining. I can't handle it anymore..... /sigh/

how old is the cat? well if it's younger then he can be trained easily.

anyway, all i can suggest is to let the cat smell the litter box (put his poop on there) and he'll think that that place is where cats poop so he'll follow the scent.. to the suggestion below, lol you don't have all the time to wait your cat to poop. they have great smelling skills (?) so all you have to do is trick them.

Hmm...You take the cat when it's about to poop,and put it on the litter box, try not to take it while it's pooping, cuz the poop will go everywhere.

Well, i did that, and now, my cat is quite trained about pooping.

Its easy b.. tell the cat to poop inside the litter box.. if not.. tell the cat that you will kill it
