Can someone here do me a favor?

Just....just tell me I can study in anthropology if I want, that I won't waste my time and that I will find a job in this domain...

You see, two out of my three social spheres tell me it's a bad idea, so if I can at least have a few people telling me I can do it... I don't know, I just wish someone would tell me I can do it right now. I never was that sure about my future and I WILL do those studies in anthropology, I just...I think I'm just disapointed in their reaction about my decision...
