Paris Hilton and the act of crediting works.

I've knew that Paris Hilton will be featured in a KPOP Music Video since it's official press released. I was very eager to see it but I forgot about it UNTIL 3 days ago. And so, I did my searching on Youtube. So, I typed : "paris hilton kpop" and boom!

There was a comment when I first watched it. A comment by a native korean who apparently informed about "how Paris Hilton got to be featured in the music video"

Summarising it, so, this guy said that LOEN held a public poll of who will the nation choose to be featured in the music video, and apparently, Korea herself chose Paris Hilton instead of some western artists. He ended his comment of saying his korean society is stupid.

[edited] found a description about the poll. so, here:

Artist Kim Jang Hoon polled his Korean audience, and asked who they thought the most recognizable leading lady was.
Rumor has it, Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson were in the running, but ultimately, Paris won the competition and signed on to star in his new 3D music video.

First of all, I was curious, was Paris Hilton that famous in Korea? I don't really get it. But, I wouldn't be surprise if her album was a breakthrough in Korea.

Let me remind you of this:

I won't review this. I'll let it to your imaginations.

So, move on to second, WHY WESTERNERS? WHY?~ Why Paris Hilton? Why Jessica Alba? Why Scarlette Johansson?(I think she'll be great in it, though.) Seriously, if you want a westerner did a cameo in an eastern music video, please choose European Models or something like that. Like what most great artists did, they hired models or unknown star to be featured in their music video like the look-alike young Leornado DiCaprio in Katy Perry's Unconditionally!

And there's another thing that bugs me. Isn't there any KPOP music video that states the director of the music video???? Because I have this habit of wanting to know who direct this, who direct that and all. And through it, I find a lot of good works from them, maybe great movies or stuffs like that. This sound ridiculous, yes, it maybe to you, but not to me. I mean, you should give credit to the director of the music video. Aren't you proud of your work??? You can be famous just by making music videos, you know.

That's all the rant I have write now.

Bye!

2:59 AM. Let's Sleeeeeep!
