HELP

So here's the deal guys. I got an inspiration for a gtop (of course) oneshot this morning, and I had write down points of what I wanna write. But when I get to the office, my friend was reading a novel, and the story she was reading has the same storyline as my idea. I haven't really read it, so I dunno the details, but from what my friend told me abt the story it really sounds alike. What do you think I should do? Just write the fic? Or just forget about it? :(

Write it! It's hard to write anything completely original, just put your own flair on it. Many Fanfictions are already based on movies, books, songs, and even other Fanfictions! What's important is that it's your effort, and since you came up with the idea on your own already, it's yours to write. And I'm sure everyone would want you to write it so we can READ it!

it doesnt really matter, i think. my suggestion is you dont read the novel. it will affect you much later. i did have same experience with you abt it before, when i write fic for my other otp.
