• STYLE— miyoung isn't a girl of high heels as the other girls at her age. she's the sporty, casual girl who wears sneakers but that doesn't mean they're ugly though. she often wears jeans or pants in general, but she has a guilty pleasure for dresses. she ties her hair only when she's doing her thing: soccer. she don't use big earings or big accesories in general.

miyoung is definitely a good child. she listens to her parents and wants to be the perfect child to them (she has to). is her responsibility (more than her choice) to give her family proud and a good name. she tries hard at school, and she's good of that because her parents were and her sister was too, is just in her fate to be good. even if she isn't the best in her classes, she's capable to be in high places because of her hard work (she didn't born with the talent to understand chemistry, but she puts effort to do it).

since her family he doesn't have to many family issues, but her parents constantly reminds her their situation: they aren't poor, yeah, but they have money issues since her father lost a big contract, so know they can't afford to pay her entry to one of the SKY universities. so yeah, the cards are on the table: you have to work and be the best. that's probably the reason behind how she doesn't expend so much money in her as the others in her school can.

she never says it out loud, but she's a little jelous. 

as a perseverant person she's a stubborn too. if she fails, she's gonna stand up and try to do it again (and again, and again) until she can do it right (but then again, she can't fail in the first try). she is a passionate person too, since she loves soccer and is the best at it (everyone say it, and she takes the pleasure to believe them). 

she is not as talkative as she would like to, but still interacts to people enough to don't be crazy. she isn't shy either, she's mostly in between.  she has insecurities too, and them puts her under a lot pressure. she fights to put them away, but she can help it but tortures herself with them.

• BACKGROUND— the story of miyoung is kind of complicated and a bit of sad. starts with a girls as the others, loving her family and wanted to be as happy as she can. however, it doesn't matter what she does is never enough. it starts with the day when her mom forgot her in her soccer lessons and saying her "i was with your older sister! sorry for forget that!". she was bleeding and with a headache, and her face all dirty with a mix of tears and mud.

she was 8 but she smiled to her mom and told her "next time I will make you to remember me, mom!" it starts then, how much she wants to be better than her sister and the light of her mother's eyes.

she grow up like that, as a competitive as hell. her sister was president class when she entered to high school, she tries too but she just make it as the class's vicepresident. (she doesn't care, she murmurs to herself at nights, because she's better at sports and her dad loves that and everyone does too).

his mom and dad have both good jobs. her father is the owner of a big gym's line, with one of them located in gangnam-gu. and her mother is a housewife but with a big herence behind her. and her sister? jaeyoung is married with a doctor she meets while university. and she makes into a good school (one of the best). 

she meet the girls in the school. and she just falls in love with how perfect their relationship is with everyone (she is not talkative, she never had to many friends either so close). even if jooah is more popular than everyone (and more pretty, maybe) she doesn't feel competitive towards her but protected. she finds a best friend.

however, things always find a way to get bad. her sister left the city when she finished university and miyoung never missed her presence (but she always noticed, her mother never stopped to talk about her), but suddenly she came back after all this year saying that her married is over and she is gonna to stay back in the city for a while, in their house (miyoung hates how her mother cries and how her father swears to kill that bastard for hurt her 'baby'. miyoung kind of likes that bastard).

everyone around them start to talk about how unlucky is jaeyoung and how she don't have to worry about find another husband because she's perfect and she can made it. people also start to tell miyoung why she acts so much like a boy and how she should look like her sister more.

it starts so randomly that even miyoung didn't notice. she starts to skip her meals because she don't want to be in the same table that with her sister and her parents being the biggest fangirls in the planet (but she has to, anyways. and they talk about their big goals of the day as always, and miyoung just talks about soccer because thats only she have to offer).

is easy to skip meals in front of her parents because they never pay real attention to her (unless is to say her what to do) so she always offers to clean the service and throws away the food while doing it. she gets skinny and goes crazy about the gym. people start to say how pretty she looks, and she smiles back (she doesn't want to be pretty, just better than her sister).

one day, she told jonah to came to her home for dinner. it was an innocent invitation, it didn't supposed to end like that.

jooah goes to her home and everything is fine til her mom tells them to get down for dinner. miyoung does the same thing as always (she didn't eat, plays with the food and locks herself to her own world) except that she catch her dad telling jooah that he wishes for a daugther like her and jaeyoung telling that she would like her more as a sister that miyoung itself.

she feels like she's already crying as she stands up and runs away to her room. she can hear her sister complaining, and her dad saying that he didn't mean to. she feels like puking and so she does.

except that jooah appears. miyoung feels embarrasing of herself, and even if jooah didn't ask anything she tells how she feels (the pain, "i'm so disgusting, jooah? why even my family didn't like me?"). jooah hugs her, and miyoung feels great to have a friend like her.

but then, she doesn't. jooah starts to make fun of her (she's still her friend, she still talks to her and don't tell anything directly) but she sugges weird things and miyoung catches them. she even start to wonder if she told the others about it (but they don't say anything and didn't seem to catch the things, so miyoung relaxes).

when jooah's body is found miyoung cries a lot. it shocks her, but she knows that not in the same level as "Blue". she's angry, sad and lethargic; but in some part of her heart she was full of relief: jooah wasn't there anymore to tell bad things about her issue, and her secret was safe.

• SECRETS — apart of the bulimia thing, miyoung has new troubles. first, with her family (obvioulsy), her father lost a big part of the gym's line so he eventually goes unemployed. she don't see nothing wrong with people know it, but her parents forced her to act like nothing's happen (they live because of her mom's herence and she goes to work as a lawyer). [edit] then she gets the point: nobody can knows that their status is in a whole new bad level. 

+ [edit] she starts to be harassed by her soccer coach and obviously she doesn't like that. she notices how the "innocent touchs" aren't that innocent anymore. he tries to kiss her but she stop him and confront him about the thing, but he makes an obvious statement: if she says something, it would be a big scandal. and she catches the threat: she could loose soccer and the opportunities to have a scholarship. and then he says that anybody will believe her because nobody believes in liars as her. and he's right.
