Personality: Wonyeon is the typical free soul of young lady. She loves doing things with her own way and rules that she thinks right, and dislike it when someone try to control her from being the way she is. Being raised so strictly in almost broken-family make her pour her frustation out in school by becoming the harsh, stubborn and cocky girl. Brain, wealth, and looks were her power, as she's smart and a fast learner, not even any teacher can overpower her words. She put up her cocky face, ditch classes that she thinks unimportant, speak with her sharp tongue most of times, except to few people that could be counted as her best friends. However, Wonyeon is not the type to do something such as bullying unless it's necessary (since she hates injustice and she would't mind to mingle herself to other people's injustice problem), so people can feel a bit more ease as long as they didn't annoy or disturb her in general. Her attitudes make some people respect her (when she sides with them for injustice problems) and hate her at the same time when she's being harsh, but they are too reluctant to really talk to her.
Despites being rebelious in school, Wonyeon is still a young lady with dignity and pride of her status, so she always make sure that each and every action that she made wouldn't really ruin her social image. She also have great sense, love, and respect for arts and music since she was little (with contemporary music and french pottery as her favorite), thus you will find her being the calm version of Wonyeon when she mingle with these favorite things of hers. On the contrary of her attitude in school, Wonyeon is fragile at home. Her parents endless cold war and pressures of her duty as the heiress of the family's company made her almost not believe in the existence of love and dreams come true, but at the same time she struggles to keep believing that someday someone would save her from her insanity and love her for who she is, just like those in fairy tales that she read for her childhood bed stories.
Background: Wonyeon is an elite whose father owns one of the biggest company group in korea (Yong Group, which concentrates on hotel and supermarket business), and a chinese mother whose family owns Taipei's Art Gallery. Both family met through elite gatherings and decided to marry their children away for the sake of business, thus it was an arranged marriage. Wonyeon was born in Taiwan, her mother's hometown when the couple was on visit to the in-laws family. Soon after her birth, the whole family moves back to Korea to attain Yong Group's growing business and live in their mansion in Bucheon, around 40minutes from Seoul. She spend her primary school on international school and rolled in to SOLA on her middle school. With mother who oftens go back and forth from Taiwan and Seoul to attends her family's gallery and a father who always have business to do at the company, Wonyeon grew up herself with tutoring after school to be the next heiress and accompanied by maids inside the mansion. When her parents came home, they would either quarrel due to stress or decided not to talk at all because their energy drained, completely unaware of little Wonyeon's feeling, and soon, she gave up and stop asking about her parents.
As a family, there were short times when they live together as a happy family too, back in the days when Wonyeon was toddler, and Yong Group still didn't become as big as of now. Wonyeon and her parents travelled to Taiwan for a short vacation, and for the first time in her life Wonyeon visited her mother's art gallery. Those potteries, lively paintings, sculptures, and manipulation arts captivated Wonyeon in instant and from that moment she knew she would love those things for the rest of her life. Being introduced to piano as her first musical instruments (because her father believed it would train her right and left brain to become balanced) also made her grow fond for music. Therefore, being the heiress of the company is not Wonyeon's interest at all, as she wanted to travel across Europe and Broadway to fulfill her art passion. Encouraging herself, she confessed to her father that she wants to pursue arts instead of being the heiress, which was directly replied by a big no and shouting from her father, which was the start of her rebelious era because she wanted to be free, as free as butterfly and attain what she always passionate about.

First Meeting: It was the last year on middle school when Wonyeon first knew the existence of Yixing. She saw some of his creations and paintings in school's exhibition hall and she admitted that he was indeed a great artist. However since she never sees him in person, she just shrug it off and wonders if there would be a time she met the person. Then one day Wonyeon was on her lunch break and stay on the art room making pottery instead, her concentration was suddenly disturbed by loud squeals of bunch of girls who saw a guy coming to the art room. Annoyed, she scolded those girls to get off and after they left, she continued cursing and muttering under her breath in chinese, saying something like "the hell with those pathetic girls over this sleepy eyed guy. It's not like he's something." Yixing who heard her mumbling and was settling his stuff down near the canvas replied coldly in chinese too "Well sorry. But I have a name and it is far better than sleepy eyed guy." and began to sit facing the canvas. This made Wonyeon yelped because the guy was chinese and understood what she said. She asked for his name and that was the first time they knew each other.
Interactions: Wonyeon and Yixing are hoobaes - sunbaes in the art club. Of course, despites belong to the same club, they barely talked as Yixing always focused only on his art and Wonyeon always rejected going for club's field trips or art competitions and events, thus he never see any of her creation so far. Wonyeon always feel happy of those short times when there were only Yixing and her in the art room (since they both are always the first ones to come) because Yixing was so quiet which made Wonyeon able to fully concentrate and his hand gestures when painting that she secretly glanced at gave many aspirations to her. Minju had countlessly told her that Wonyeon must like him more than just a sunbae, but she keeps denying it by saying she admired him as an artist. One day, Wonyeon who regulary checked on the art community forum was surprised that Yixing created an accound there and posted an announcement that he needs someone who knows a lot of pottery and french style of art to partnered with him to make a fusion art illustrations for his upcoming competition. Wonyeon who using the fake name 'elle' directly offered herself online and gave him few of her portfolios, which was the start of their deeper interaction online, with Yixing who was clearly clueless of who 'Elle' truly was.

Just what Wonyeon promised on Tao, they did not disturb each other nor asking each other's conditions if it's not important, because they share the same thought of being free souls. However when times comes for Tao's parents to check on his condition, he would begged Wonyeon to gather and plan for acting to reassure every action he did were well-covered up. And as an exchange, Tao would help Wonyeon in excuses to her parents when she's missing to do art or music works, making them the best partners without bonds.

Studying ethics: Wonyeon would start studying when the subject is interesting or she thinks it's useful for her future. Besides calculations and subjects that requires practical learning, most of times Wonyeon can understand the subject by just reading the manuals (aka book), therefore she barely comes to class which subject she thought not important unless it's exams or assignments due date time and come to the library, borrow the subject's book and study by herself instead (since she still need to pass the grade requirements). During her middle school, whenever she had group projects, all her group mates work were always way below her expectation, which made her had to redo the assignment and it's troublesome. Since then, she prefers to work alone, or at least pairing with Ailee whose work is similar to hers.
Project Learning time: When her full concentration appears, Wonyeon is a very fast learner as she easily memorize things. Therefore when it is exam's time, she always studied it the night before or last minute to let the deadline stimulate her full concentration to appear. During exam time, she would usually study until 3am in the morning, sleep for 3 hours and then memorize them once again before going to the exam hall. Even though she suffers from sleep deprived, her method of study always gave her flying colors grade, so she never change, and she knew she can't changed. While for assignments, she would do it 2 or 3 days before the deadline by using first day of starting to write the outline of the assignment, and the last day to sum the overflow concentration and reviewed it before submitting.
