Hint for Reading

Hey guys~ I'm just so bored right now and well... I just wanna post this for fun XD

This is to help you find out, when you're reading a fanfic, who the main charater is going to end up with. Wait... That doesn't make sense, does it? I mean like... When you're reading a fanfic and you want to read a story where the main charater ends up with your bias (for example) so this is what I do. Just to warn you, though: these things are not ALWAYS, it's just usually, so don't blame me if it doesn't work. :P

Method 1: Using Tags

When you see a fanfic's tags, you might find hint from its orders. So for example the tags are:

you , taemin , myungsoo ,  shinee , romcom , taeminandyou

In this case, it's taeminandyou, so you can already tell you're going to end up with TaeMin. But what if I remove it? It should now be:

you , taemin , myungsoo ,  shinee , romcom

So now, how are you going to find out who you'll end up with? Simple. I can tell this story is going to end up with TaeMin because of the order. Authors tend to introduce the main characters first before anyone else are introduced. So if it's about TaeMin and You, TaeMin might be introduced either before You are introduced or after You are introduced. Again, this is not always.

Another way to find out who you'll end up with is the group name. Usually, if a member from a group is given the main role, the other members would usually be put in the story. In the tags, you can see TaeMin's group, which is SHINee (if you don't know, SHAME ON YOU!), is included in the tags whereas MyungSoo's group,  INFINITE (again, if you don't know, SHAME ON YOU!),is not mentioned so that usually means MyungSoo is gonna be the troublemaker or something (for exaaaaaaaaaaaaaaample!). Again, this is not always.

What if I did include INFINITE? And what if the 2 idols are from the same group? Well then, just stick with the first method :P.

Method 2: Using the Character List in the Foreword / Description / Chapter

Not all fanfics introduce their characters in the foreword, discription, the charaters box or a chapter which lists all  of the characters so if they don't, stick with the first or the  third method(which is still coming).

Some fanfics only introduce the 2 main characters so it's easier. If the tags say:

originalcharacter , kwangmin , taemin

But then in their foreword / discription / haracter box / chapter, they only introduce TaeMn and the OC, then it's clear that TaeMin is the male lead. That is why I said the first method is not always.

Other authors introduce alot of other characters so in this one, you have to look at the orders. Just like what I said in method 1, authors tend to introduce the main characters first. Again, this is not always.

Method 3: Using Poster

Some fanfics don't use posters or they don't put the charaters in the poster so if they don't, stick with method 1 and 2.

If the tags are:

originalcharacter , daehyun , taemin , bap , shinee , horror

And the characters are not introdued. That was all mixed together but you can still find out the male lead by looking at the poster.

Some posters only have the 2 main characters so it is easier. Other posters have all the characters mentioned. Then this way, you can usually find the main by seeing the one on the top or the bigger one. By the bigger one, I mean like it is the biggest picture. Once again, this is not always and this is the least useful because sometimes, you can't really tell the difference.

Oh lol

Thanks for those of you who read till here~ XD
