Background: Nate was born to a single father with his mother passing away right after he was born . He's father was a business enterpenur who loved travelling and he wanted his son's to be able to venture out to the 'world' , therefore ever since a young age , although being born in England , he's father had wanted his sons to be in touch with their asian culture despite their English name , it was rarely used . Therefore the travelled around several Asian countries including south asian countries , e.g : India , Bangladesh . This made them learn other lagnuages , However after Nate had turned 12 , he's father wanted his children to now focus on education and ever since then , they lived in Seoul ,South Korea , with his father owning a Cafe loved by the locals . 
 

Personality: He's very cold looking and people would assume from the way he looks that he rarely smiles , however that is only on the outside , in reality when he is with s , he laughs a lot and is the one that makes them laugh , he is the variety type , the one that makes people laugh with whatever however he does have this serious side to him and that is often seen when he performs or if in a interveiw they ask a question about their personal life, he wouldn't care and look right into the interveiwers eyes sending him/her the chills . However that's what makes him so loved , that he isn't afraid to express himself . 

When he is happy , he would smile and would laugh a lot , this is not seen at least after 4-5 months after the band had debuts , which makes the fans think . When he upset , he would give you one of the scariest stares and walk away , making you still feel scared due to the coldness of the look . When he angry , he would look at you for a long time , and that is what shows you he is angry , he would walk away again . 

He is very overprotective about the members , especially about the girls as he knows how tough the idol life is , and would try and help them with his height when they arrive in airports , knowing about saesang fans .

Their personality: Nana is exactly like Nate , their both cold and are known as the 'Ice Couple' with Nate being the 'Ice Prince' and Nana being the 'Ice Princess', however they treat each other pretty coldly and keep it to themselves that they like each other . Nana get's jealous pretty easily whereas Nate does but knows very well how to hide it , their relatioship consists of beating each other up .

* When Nate decided to stay back for practice knowing how tired he is , Nana comes in and tries to persuade him to go back to the dorms , he tells her to go away and he knows what he's doing however this maks Nana even more stubborn and she waits for him to be done,after Nate was done, he notice Nana sleeping on the floor waiting for him , so he carries her back to her dorms , even though he hella tired . 

* When they win rookie of the year , Nana and him hug for the first time , even though Nate is totally against skin ship and they've never really showed that kind of affection , this created a fanbase for them called '2Jins' Due to Nana's real name : Jin-ah and Nate's korean name : Hae Jin. 

* In the Gayo Daejun , Nate has to do a couple dancing with one of the members in Story , which doesn't please Nana , she starts ignoring Nate and his calls , which hurts Nate as he realizes he likes her as well .
