When someone asks me why I like K-pop...

Just asking, but when your family, relatives, friends, strangers, etc ask you why you like K-pop how do you respond.

My Answer:

To be quite honest, no one EVER accepts my answers.

Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am a K-pop fanboy with a sister who's a Directioner(fan of One Direction) and she outright says that she HATES K-pop. FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. She even makes the effort to tell everyone she hates K-pop and tells all of my relatives and family friends it's because I like the Korean girls. My mom even makes the point of saying that all the girls get plastic surgery and all the guys wear makeup.

WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING MOM AND SARAH(My Sister)

Starting with mom: Its such an insult to me whenever someone says K-pop they immediately think of plastic surgery. The fact that she had plastic surgery has absolutely nothing to do with how talented the singer is.

And even American boy singers wear makeup mom. It's not really uncommon for any American singer or actor to be wearing makeup on stage or on set.

NOW ONTO THE HERSELF, SARAH...

Before I start rambling about how wrong she is let me get something straight with you all.

Sarah and I have never ever got along. We both hate each other's guts, she thinks she's smarter than and I am I think her head's a block of rotting wood.

But note: I am the good child in the family. I say Good Morning to her everyday, I am courteous to others, I am very respectful to my elders and I am very very kind to everyone.

Now Let the rambling commence!

It is so inconsiderate and mean whenever you say that you hate K-pop. I have never said, for the past year or so of you loving One Direction(specifically Harry Styles) have ever said I have hating One Direction. In fact, the songs are actually quite nice and catchy.

It's really unfair when you tell someone who might potentially like K-pop to tell her you hate it. It ruins the experience of becoming a netizen and exploring the Great World of K-pop. And you might be cutting ties when that friends grows to like K-pop.

Lastly, your own brother has not had any attraction to any women for the greater half of his life and you think I'm into K-pop because of the Korean girls. When your brother just might be gay.

You might think this is really mean of me to be posting this on AFF. Well according to the rules. I can't bash other users. And since my sister or my mom doesn't have an account, I'm safe.

My brother says he hates KPOP because they never actually sing the whole song. And I want to say to him! Unlike American Singers who don't usually dance in songs, KPOP singers dance in almost the whole song! You can't expect a person to sing and dance for a whole song! And plus the dance is very hard and they don't always lip synch. Its the company who says whether they have to OR a concert that is too windy, you can't hear them properly so they lip synch. I don't get why people say "why do you like KPOP. You don't understand them." well you don't have to understand to enjoy a song AND you can find out the translation on the Internet. And sometimes even in a KPOP song some parts are still sung the singer still sings. Don't hate on people just because you don't like what they like. I like what my brother likes but even if I didn't I wouldn't hate on him. LIFE WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF PEOPLE STOP HATING FOR NO BLODDY REASON!!!

My brother used to be like that. He really disliked kpop but after awhile, he came to understand once I told him about how these idols trained for so long and they get to do what they love. He understood that and he respected it and thats how I explain to people why kpop is more than music. And I also give them this really mean glare when they talk about how weird and embarrassing they look. Some people are just stubborn and close minded to accept new ideas and cultures.
And I don't hate on American music too. I just think like 'oh they sound really good but they're just not my style~' I'm a kpop and R&B person ^^

It that others don't have respect for others preference! > _< now look at that I'm rambling lol sorry bye! *hides*~~
