Cross is more fond of Chinese tradition than Korean
He prefers people to call him Chlymate or Cross other than his other names
He calls his sister, Cat Poo and his brother, Hamster Poo. Since before, the 3 of them kept pets. Cross kept a dog, her sister kept a cat and his brother kept a hamster. All of those 3 pets was lost when they were flying to Seoul. They left the cages in the waiting area and never came back. They called the airlines and they said, the didn't see any kid of those pets.
When Cross is too stressed out, he watches Anime or reads manga. He has 5 cabinets of them in their family mansion in Seoul and 2 in their dorm

Cross is scared of falling in love, again. He experienced falling in love with a girl when he was 14, in China. The girl had heart problems. The day Cross decided to confess, the girl died which left a huge hole in his heart. He fell so hard, tht he locked inside of his room for 4 days and only went out to eat. After 3 months that day, they moved to Korea. That's a reason why Cross doesn't want to come back to China anymore.
When he was a kid, his mother sent him to a ballet school. He fell in love with dancing that day. It became his passion. He carried his dancing abilities until now, constantly learning new and new dance elements everyday. Cross is a great dancer but he believes he's just...a normal dancer and still needs to learn more.
He doesn't know aegyo..the members teaches him everyday but he keeps on forgetting how to do it.
Cross doesn't think he's popular since he said he's just normal and the other members are greater than him.
Sometimes, Cross sneaks out of their dorm and heads to VS Ent to spend the hour just dancing alone and enjoying the nice solidarity.
Cross is more comfortable with his dancing ablities and vocal abilities than his rapping and speaking.
Cross likes saying these words : "Once is enough, Twice is Dangerous, Thrice could Kill you." especially when he is asked about his love life.

He composed several songs before but he chose to keep it. He can play the guitar as well.

Childhood

background :

Cross was raised with the Chinese tradition since both of his parents has Chinese blood running in them. In age of 3, Cross' father died in the army which was a bad memory. They were at Los Angeles that time. Since that place left a whole lot of scars in their family. They were rich, no one could deny that so they managed to stand up again and lived at Beijing, China. His mother sent him to a ballet school in age of 4. Cross found his passion there. In his age of 5, he never stopped with his passion and learned more elements. Cross was an intelligent kid then. In his Grade school days, there was this kinf of All Arts school there so his mother, together with his sister and brother did their schooling there. The 3 of them were all great dancers so they took and majored in dancing.

Cross grew up to a spendid kid. He was well mannered and intelligent. But, he was too shy. In his 12 years of age, he saw a girl at school, he fell in love with ehr at young age. He became good friends with her. When he was 12, he fell harder, that time, his sister and brother adviced him to confess and ask her out. On the day of her confession, he visited their house but her parents told her the news...she died in midnight. It broke his heart too much. If left too much scratches in his heart. For 4 days he was miserable...make that 2 weeks. He barely ate and was like a zombie.

Breaking his little heart at a young age made him realize something. He never wanted to love again after that. He kept that promise in a rock.

His mother, his sister and elder brother pitied him so much. They moved to Seoul after a few months and started a new life...for him

He moved on and exercised his passion, dancing. It was not a few months that he discovered his vocal skills after that. He practiced it everytime and as well as played instruments. He transferred to a new school which was still an Art School.

Everything was normal for him after that.

how did you guys act around each other?

They act with a sunbae-hoobae relationship on air but off..they're definitely friends. Cross keeps on smiling when he's around Jessica and so as Jessica. They're comfortable having each other around. Having Jessica around would be the only reason that Cross would talk...talk to much. He acts differently and so as Jessica do. They constantly text ecah other as well and they are sometime find having dinner at night.

They are sometimes found to be wearing the same accesories and clothes as well for example are bracelets and shirts. When they don't see ecah other for a long time, they keep on missing each other. Jessica of course knows about Cross' past and is aware of it. She tries her best not to falll in love with him but she can't help herself but to. As for Cross, he's being too dense to know his feelings but, he's starting to fall hard for her

how did you guys act around each other?

Taeyeon knows about Jessica and Cross' relationship. All of SNSD members does and all of them agree that they look good together. To Taeyeon and Cross, they have that noona and dongsaeng relationship. Cross runs to her when he has problems and Taeyeon keeps on comforting or give him advice as well. What he doesn't know is, Taeyeon likes him.

Taeyeon doesn't want to be the antagonist in their relationship so she prefers to love him from a far.

Beginner

trainee life :

At his age of almost 19 years old. He was all bore out with his life. He wanted to try something new with mixture of his passion in dancing in it. His sister joked around with him with a suggestion of 'How about you try out to be an Idol? I mean, that would be great Dog-Poo. People could see your Dog-Poo face all around the world.'. One day while he was walking around some alley and it was so windy, a poster flew to his face. He red the poster and it was some kind of audition to an Entertainment company.

Since he really was bored, he tried out the next day. The staffs was stunned with his skills so he immediately was accepted as a trainee. He was a normal trainee for everyone. Some treated him well, some didn't. He was thinking its going to be years for him to be an idol and he wasn't actually planning to be. He worked hard though. After school, he went straight to VS ent to train his dance skills and so his vocal.

He was a spendid trainee for some trainers and some thought he was normal. But, Cross knew he didn't need to impress anyone. He just wanted to be normal

On the day of that there was going to be a group that was going to debut. Half of himself was doing cross fingers while half of him was hopeless.

When his name was announced, he raised his eyebrow and said the words: "Are you kidding me?" in English language
