Help(?) >> About da guitar

Okay, guys. So here's the problem. I'm thinking of buying a guitar and learning how to play is well, since I have pretty much nothing to do at home nowadays. But the thing is, there are quite a few types of guitars and I don't even know which kind to buy.

Question is; what's the difference between acoustic guitars and classical guitars?

And do you have any advice for me as to like, how to choose the guitars?

PLEASE HELP ME ORZ XD

Honestly I own an acoustic guitar and if you want to learn kpop songs and stuff like that I say get an acoustic guitar. But classical guitars , personally, have such a nice sound to them when playing classical music or music more on the instrumental side. If you want to strum more then pluck acoustic. I guess its all up to your preference and these are just my opinions. I have an acoustic guitar but just like what most people say the acoustic guitar does hurt on your fingers but it will take some getting use to. ^^ Hope it helps

My music teacher said that classical was better because the strings hurt less. Or was it accustic...? I shall Google it...

Classical Guitar- strings are made of nylon
Acoustic Guitar- strings are made of metal

And if you're choosing which guitar to buy...

He said it depends on what music you'll play

But, I really don't know how to choose... Ask the person who'll teach you :)))

I tried to learn before but gave up...

Haha... Just do your best in learning and don't be lazy when playing or learning how to play the guitar!!!
