Personality: Kyon Soo, or Kymi, is a rather...innocent, and clueless girl. She smiles all the time, and rarely ever frowns. When she does frown it's because she's reminiscing about her relationship with her family. She seems to not have had much lessons in common sense or ual education because she is beyond the realms of oblivious and innocent. Her big eyes show her sincere feelings and she is a very bad liar. Her eye smile is contagious and noone can help but to smile or laugh along with her. She loves everyone around her and rarely ever makes enemies because she ends up having a deep understanding of others' feelings. She thinks highly of everyone around her, but her clutziness and obliviousness frustrates a lot of people because they don't know how to deal with her, but they eventually just find her actions cute. She loves to follow around her sunbaes that are close to her and stick to them because she misses her real older siblings. She loves sweets, espeically cake and loves to bake them as well. Fans usually find her with a strawberry lollipop in , so fans started giving them to her. She's very polite and always bows 90 degrees to whoever she meets, making her popular with elders and her kindness makes her popular with children. She is an early morning person so she often helps with cooking breakfast in the morning and is generally cheerful all day until it hits midnight, which is when she starts falling asleep. She has been known to just black out after midnight at times. She gets teased alot because she's also very gullible, and she ends up getting playfully angry at those who . When she's on stage, she gives off an elegant image, but off stage, she's back to being innocent and clumsy. Even though she's not the maknae, she acts like one, causing her seniors to take care of her and treat her as said maknae.

 

Background: Kymi comes from a business-engaged family originating from Aichi, Japan, and moving to the U.S. when she was only five years old. Her father is a CEO of a small restaurant franchise that recently took off in the United States, and her mother is Vice President. Her older brother is being trained under her father as the next CEO and her older sister is being trained as the next Vice President. If not for her older brother, Kymi would never have become a Kpop Star. Her parents greatly opposed her becoming a Kpop Star and still do present day. They wanted her to take part in the family business, but her older brother used his own money to send her to their aunt in Korea, allowing her to audition and become a Kpop Star.

How did you get into SM Entertainment?: Kymi's older brother sent her to their aunt in South Korea without their parents' consent. She tried out for several companies and eventually decided on SM when she was only 13 years old.

How many years did you train?: 4 years

How was trainee life?: At 13 years old, she had it easy at first and they gradually worked her into a difficult schedule until her debut. The SM Family called her Kimberly and many names developed fromt here. The trainers called her Kim for short. She got scolded a lot for spacing out and being too oblivious. She trained hard and was always cheerful so she wasn't bullied. She was trained under Taeyeon and Tiffany for vocals and under Yoona for dancing.
