He would at times open a garage sale with the toys he created, by editing his broken toys, at their house. At the age of 27, he accidentally impregnated a girl from his college. The woman gave birth and left their son to Hoseok, leaving him to raise it alone. After graduating, and working more than 3 jobs, he finally built a toy store at Seoul, at the age of 30, and called it 'Starry Im's Toy Store'. Soon, his toys became well known and he was able to open more stores in other places in south korea, as well as in other countries. Starry Im's Toys Inc. became well known and became one of the top companies in South Korea. At the age of 55, his son, Yunhwa, had his first child. People became curious about the heir to the company, although Hoseok kept quiet. 5 years later, Yuni was born.
